The thing is, you're hating him because of how he looks. Think about that. Basically, you're all far, far bigger gimps than him.

I don't hate him for how he looks. I hate him for the smackable personality his look exudes.

There's a difference there, Nanderson. I look in his eyes and peer into his soul. And it disgusts me.

why so much hate?
I bet 90% of you that proclaim to "hate" or "despise" him wouldn't be saying these things if he was coming here instead of Barca....instead you'd all be jizzing over his footballing abilities.

It's really funny how people assume they "know" a person judging solely on their looks (and some videos online).

I mean if nothing else you'd think United fans would "understand" given our history with Ronaldo.

I KNOW I hate him for completely irrational reasons. Reasons that aren't necessarily anything to do with his real personality or how good or bad he is, and that can apply to several other comparable players I don't hate. I just do hate him, and everything he stands for.

I hate the way he looks & styles himself. I hate the way he acts on the pitch. I hate the fact he's a massive drooled over muppet icon & one of the most marketable sportsmen in the world based largely on youtube clips and deferred knowledge. I hate the way Brazillians are desperate to put him on a plinth with Messi entirely to fullfil the Pele role to his Maradona despite not earning it yet. I hate the fact that Pele's already put him there. I hate the fact he's such a hugely rich and fetted person in a largely impoverished country, and hate that it's all the above that have made him so. I hate the fact that he's third party owned, meaning the club who brought him up got jipped on the deal. I hate the fact that Barca are signing him despite being precisely the only player they don't need because their owner wants an ego signing and Neymar's huge, inflated muppet reputation has swayed him. I hate his piggy little lizard eyes. I hate the Nike advert he did that wasn't as good as all the other Nike adverts. I hate his arms & the stupid shit he puts on them.

At the centre of it is a brazilian kid who's really good at football, which is everything right about the game. But EVERYTHING else around him, absolutely everything, from the hype, to the riches, to the stupid hair, to the antics, to the arrogance, to the 3rd party ownership, to the marque signing is everything wrong with football. And as such I genuinely hope he's a huge disappointment and a massive flop and we can point and laugh at him as an example of the stupid excesses & expectations of football.

It's incredibly bitter and childish. I know it is. I don't apologise for it. I hate him.

* I hate that hat.

I don't hate Neymar, I just despise the wankers who big him up before he's really done anything.

But didn't you see that trick he did on YouTube one?

He looks like he's bought into his own hype a long time ago. But because he helped my Palermo side in FM11 become champions of Europe I hope he succeeds.

I don't really blame him that much for cheating. I've watched alot of Neymar at Santos and the blame should be placed on the referees in the Brazilian League who gave a foul nearly every time he fell to the floor, which was quite often. If I constantly got away with something, I'd continue doing it to and seeing as he's become the new big star going into the World Cup in Brazil, nobody would vilify him over it to stop this behaviour the way it did Ashley Young and would've done Suarez had he not been a cnut.

How about the wankers who wont give him any credit for his technical abilities and the fact to have got to that skill level will have taken a shit load of hard graft and dedication?. The wankers who hate him because they think he is a dilettante and are the feckwits who would love a George Graham type of coach who prefers players that play without any invention or creativity. You know the type the dickheads who love a journeyman over an exciting player?

You're really taking this personally aren't you?

Good morning Mock! Only a couple of hours and it's already time for pay back.

I see you have a go at young Neymar, good for you but let's see why you chose this kid. You hate him because " EVERYTHING else around him" is wrong with football. Wow! Rational. Let's put your little rant into perspective.

1. His style and the way he looks! When where the last time you visit Brazil or Sao Paulo? With his background and fame he looks OK for me, but more important his style is no different to other young newly rich Brazilian men. This so called favella style is quite popular in his neighborhoods so I can't see what's wrong. Maybe you hate Rooney's style and haircut too?

2. The way he act on the pitch? When where the last time you watched Brazilian football?? He's no different to other players, maybe more famous and therefore more highlighted. Remember when Rooney dived against Sol Campbell, or screamed nicely in the camera. You maybe disliked that too?

3. You hate he's an icon based on YouTube clips! Wow! And therefore you hate him. Nothing more to say.

4. You hate the way Brazilians are desperate! Wow again!! And how about good old England? You are not desperate when you raise your own NTs ability? Imagine you hosting a WC and hyping your own players. Nice try baby.

5. You hate he's rich and fetted! (wtf does fetted means?) Well such an idiot. Why couldn't he remained poor and simple instead of silly haircuts and a flashy style? Please tell me Mock why couldn't he resist the balubas? (are you for real?)

6. You hate he's third party owned! Well welcome to South America where the majority of the population is poor and uneducated. Have you any idea why there is a such a phenomena like third party ownership? Use your fecking brain and figure that out and maybe you will come with a better idea who there is to blame for this. Genius you.

7. You hate the fact that Barca have signed him. Well blame Rosell for this instead of have a go at a young ambitious player. What should he do. Turn it down?

8. You hate his eyes! Wow! Put up a picture of you instead of moaning about others and let us comment about your lovely eyes. I hope you look like Beckham otherwise you will be shark food on internet.

9. You hate Nike, his arms and probably some more things! feck man you must be the most bitter man on earth. Get a life and enjoy yourself.

10. Most of this was just pay back for your bad comment about me being a muppet. I can live with that so I hope you can live this. Swings and roundabouts ;- )

Of all the reasons you can hate him, this has got to be the weirdest if not dumbest one tbh.

Still having a good confederations cup. 3 goals and 2 assists in 4 matches isn't a bad return.

He's still only 21 btw and doing it a big stage.

I missed the game vs Italy, so I found his performance on youtube. This is ridiculous, 7 minutes of diving and rolling on the floor:

This has to be one of the most stupid performance videos ever(except for Andy Carroll vs England).

 this is brilliant!

@Mockney, we get you dislike the chap, but you're kind of clutching at straws as to your reasoning. I mean, saying he's rich in an impoverished country; well yeah, he's playing in one of the wealthiest sports in the world, and he's one of the most marketable players in the world, he isn't going to give up all that money just so he can be poor like everyone else, no other footballer does this. And do you know how much of his wealth goes to charity? I personally don't, but I'm sure you don't know either. This isn't to assume that if he donates money that makes him god straight away, but it would show he puts his money to good uses

That dive is hilariously bad, and some of the gifs

As for gimps like Amar, they'd prefer to think Neymar is the only one that dives, as opposed to Rooney, Young, and pretty much every attacking player of this generation.

I won't defend any player who is diving, even if it's from time to time(you can find my posts on Young's dives), but in Neymar's case diving is most important part of his game, and playing football is just part of it, as video shows. There are more dives in that single game than you could find for Rooney in whole season, and I don't even like Rooney.
