With his goal today, am I right in thinking MKII already has as many international goals as MKI, at the age of 21?

Robinho has 26 in 90. Neymar has 24 in 39.
25 including today? Either way, says a great deal about that particular comparison IMO.
It was brief but I don't think he gets enough credit for his form back then. He really was one of the best players in the world.'One of the best' at quite a stretch and for an extremely brief period of time.
Anyway, doesn't make it any less of a stupid/lazy comparison to make IMO.

Agreed. Think we agreed on that in the newbies too. I don't think using goalscoring statistics is a good way of proving your point though. Robinho when played wide was an advanced playmaker of sorts, Neymar when played wide is a supporting forward. You only need to watch them in the same Brazil side to see that. In fact when Neymar scored on his debut I think Robinho may have been MOTM as most of the attacking play went through him. The fact he often plays in the hole in behind two forwards for Milan says it all. He's a creator not a scorer. Doesn't take away from your overall point though, if he has a good World Cup next year he'll have surpassed Robinho's contribution at the age of 22.
Yep, mystery solved. A real stroke of genius from the Barca transfer team again.

FCBarca is hilarious.![]()
*cough* I ♥ Neymar *cough*He's making perfect sense if you're objective
Now we see why Neymar's deal was closed before the Confed Cup

Signing a player before an upcoming international tournament to avoid price inflation is standard practice. In other words we didn't need to wait until the end of the tournament to know why he was signed before it.
His killer ball is excellent. That pass he laid for Fred in the first half was simply mint. Took 3 defenders out of the game with one pass while making it look so effortless. Say what you want about the lad but this kid has quite a knack for the game.I think his final ball is probably better than Robinho's to be honest. His lightning pace does help to open up the game a bit for that final pass but even then I think he's possibly got a better eye for the killer ball. It's in the build-up where Robinho's a level above him. Neymar's still very good in the build-up of course but definitely not to the same level IMO.
Some people will always find faults with Neymar because he is a diver. People cannot see passed that.
Just like people would never accept Ronaldo was going to be world class until he was smashing 40 goals a season.
How can you slap, Mockney? How can you slap.

I feel he could have the same impact on Barcelona as Ronaldinho had at least. Personal opinion
When was the last time Barca spent big money on a player and he was successful?
I wish Neymar joins a long and illustrious list of compatriots who failed at Barca.
Alves and Villa? Mascherano has done well too.
