Fingers crossed. I saw quite a few Seahawks fans hoping we took him with our pick today but I'm glad we didn't, most projections have him as a round 4-5 so I can see him making it to at least 120 or even our next pick at 141 and we needed to prioritise someone like Rasheem Green. Not gonna have much impact next year but we're going to struggle anyway and he's got huge potential.

The last 3 minutes of the Saints vs Vikings in the playoffs this year was insane, and makes you want to watch the game. Last second winning scores, comebacks from impossible positions, it really can have it all.

Even people who follow college football on a regular basis don't know about most of these players.
I'm shocked Maurice Hurst still hasn't been picked. He was the highest graded player in all of college football last year by PFF and had a unanimous first round grade (with many saying top 10) before they discovered a heart condition a few months ago. Since then he has been cleared by doctors at Michigan and Harvard but is still on the board. He was absolutely dominant in college. Best interior lineman in the NCAA since Suh.
That's true and to be honest I did knew about the three players they took, I just didn't expect them at all. The three positions make sense but the names are really surprising. If I was the GM I probably would have gone for Daniels in the 1st, Carlton Davis or Harrison in the 2nd Davis and then Holmes or Hand.
Apparently only two teams have him on their board. Also iirc, it wasn't discovered recently, Michigan apparently discovered it a few years ago.
People seem to be genuinely pissed that the Bucs didn't have the parrot actually say the pick. These people don't just have the capability to vote, a good portion of them insist on having access to firearms.

Raiders fans should be happy. PFF's grading is probably the most solid when it comes linemen.
Hurst was outstanding in college, glad he found a home. And as a Hawks fan, it makes me so happy to see Shaquem join his brother here. He's going to work harder than anyone and that'll bring great energy to the team as it is. Despite what the pundits are saying about picking a RB in the 1st round, I'm actually pretty pleased with the draft so far. We still need help at the CB position in particular, but for now I'll trust the management that they have a plan for addressing that weakness.
He's a great player but who knows if he'll be able to play. A lot of teams refused to even consider taking him due to his heart condition.
We've re-signed Maxwell so I'm guessing the plan will be for him and Griffin to be the starting CBs with Justin Coleman as the slot.
Saw the Maxwell signing - good news, that. I still would have liked to see a CB brought in through the draft. With how unpredictable injuries can be in the NFL, I feel like we're an injury or two away from plumbing deep down our depth chart for replacements. Maxwell and Griffin is a great starting pair, though. Shaq was awesome as a rookie, and I expect him to improve in leaps and bounds over the next couple of years.

He's supposedly a brilliant punter but yeah, trading up for him is a bit much. Jon Ryan was pretty poor last year, sucks to see him go.

Cheers, I hadn't heard that about Flowers. That's excellent news, then. As for the punter, as much as I think trading up was a bit silly, we really needed to improve our special teams. I'm going to miss Ryan as he's been excellent for us for most of his time here, but he has been on the decline the last 2-3 years and our special teams suffered severely for it. I'm excited to have a punter who can boot it 73 yards when he wants to and actually pin teams down in poor field position.
