Fulham? Everton? Carrick was playing, but in defence and those issues aside, thier midfielders were able to waltz through the space the likes of clev and ando left for them. The times we've looked most secure in the midfield is when we've gone for some version of a 433/diamond where Carrick/Fletcher have actually been given a realistic defensive duty.

I reckon he'll have a poor match, as he has every time he's played this season, and people will then claim he played well anyway.

Going by the usual redcafe slowth realisation cycle, it'll be another month yet before half the forum realises/accepts he's been playing poorly.
 
The moaning pre-match today is one of the worst I've seen. Stop layering into our players and dreading the fixture before when prior to the release of the line up, many were confident. For some reason, the inclusion of Giggs has changed some minds from "Easy today" to "feck, I have a bad feeling about this one".

Jesus wept. Enjoy the game lads.

Carrick isn't undroppable because he's great but because we haven't bought a midfielder who can do his job.

At this point you should be happy it's not Scholes-Giggs pairing.

I don't really see the point in your criticism of Young when Valencia has played more and played poorly for most of the games he has played so far this season. Young's come back from a long lay-off and given a run of games, could find form.

If you've got Lindegaard on the squad, then use him when your #1 keeper isn't 100%.

Back to De Gea's wisdom teeth...you have to get those taken out and fukk around with them becoming a problem.

It makes sense to me to watch the game before criticising the selection. You obviously do things differently.

That's a matter of opinion. You're right about one thing though, we should've signed a midfielder.
