No idea how the dynamics are there, to be fair, though Fegie lost a lot of power by recommending Moyes to them.
Regardless, I think that Ole will get the job, providing that the remaining games are not a disaster. If it continues like this, no doubt that he has earned it, and I see the board being unanimous on hiring him permanently.

Well, we're on an English speaking forum. The correct pronunciation in Norwegian is Ole but how on earth are English speakers supposed to know what Ole sounds like in Norwegian if we don't break it up in English?
Just saying 'the pronunciation is Ole' doesn't really clear up anything for English speakers.
You don't know what you're talking about, mate. The example word is not random, it's from this page (https://www.londonschool.com/blog/phonetic-alphabet/) and is an example based on how to pronounce sounds in the phonetic alphabet. Every English person can pronounce that sound.

It's not horrible, sounds like it's a guy...kid, from India or thereabouts. If i'm right in that, it's a decent pronounciation by a non-Norwegian.
I actually found that video once when i was googling to try to find a clip with the correct pronounciation, but chose not to use it.

But if I asked how Blaszczykowski is pronounced in Polish I would be looking for a breakdown in English. Not in Polish because that wouldn't be of much help.

A breakdown in English wouldn’t help you saying Blaszcykowski in Polish. The man asked for the Noggie pronunciation, not the English one. It’s over mate.
I am all for Ole getting the job permanently. More than anything though, I would love to see our DOF appointment happen as soon as possible so we can see how they work together over the remaining months of the season. I know there may not be any physical way we can see this due to the DOF’s main barometer of success being bringing in new players that fit the philosophy and profile of the club BUT things like “oh he’s fitting in brilliantly” or “he understands what this club is all about” quotes from Ole/Ed/Players would give positive messages.
This relationship is vital because the one area I don’t necessarily trust anyone at the club currently, is player recruitment. Realistically, Ole’s main job is to keep the players happy and motivated, which we know he’s brilliant at, because the tactical side is never going to be a one person mastermind approach. We have Mick, Kieran and Michael all helping and I trust the ‘Hive mind’ of those four to be able to put together a decent plan and to change things on the fly when we need to.
I genuinely don’t think Poch or Zidane can add anything other than the eye for a good player (Poch) or the draw of the superstar manager (Zidane) that Ole AND his team isn’t currently bringing and those things would be negated by an exciting DOF appointment with a great track record.
Get them in, let them all work together, then assess what we have as a complete dynamic nearer the end of the season.

I doubt it but I can understand your point. I think it's more of a case of he came in thinking he would get Ferguson levels of autonomy, only to realise United is the way it is for a reason and you don't get to change or mould much, and the things that are non-negotiable at United probably aren't inline with his philosophies in football.
I've worked at places myself where I just haven't bought into the ethos as I just didn't believe what they were doing was the best way to do things, that has ultimately seen me leave positions. I'd bank on him feeling the same. Sometimes it just doesn't fit like you thought it would.

Still there is a lot to be done tactically and on the players’ level. Staff should work with De Gea on ball distribution, for example - it just requires additional specific training. There are other players with whom they have to work on particular aspects, too
He just needs to go to a club that will give him Pep or Klopp levels of autonomy and he'll do fine. He isn't cut out to manage an institution, he needs to be at an underdog.
But you realise these are things that can't be fixed in his current tenure? We would have to appoint him long term to see how he does long term, we won't see how he does long term on a short term stint.
