Cleverley invisible again, Spanish football my arse.
Strikers getting no balls forwards.
Young doing all he can but not good enough on the night.
Valencia not even good to make this team let alone the starting 11.
Rio past it (I know we have others injured)
Smalling like a fecking girl at right back

You could take any game from September till today and these sentences would be the same each and every time.

Same old David Moyes football, always fecking wank.
 
Pitch is shit, ref is shit, RVP and Rooney look half-arsed, the defence and midfield are not in sync, defence is holding a deep line and the midfield are playing too high inviting long balls, Valencia and Young.
 
Gutless display, I hold Moyes fully accountable - he has options but continually chooses the worst ones
 
What was that?? Seriously, what was that?? We are playing a team who sold their best attacking player to Fulham..

It's not Moyes, it's Neville and Round(and the rest) who needs to step up and come to terms that they are not yet on the United level...

We would have scored about four if certain players had put away chances that Kagawa put on Royal Copenhagen platters for them. I don't know if that counts.
 
De Gea - Fantastic.

Smalling - Absolute shit right back. No business playing there. A more shit version of what Wes Brown was at United.
Vidic - Gone at end of season.
Ferdinand - Gone at end of season.
Evra - Gone at end of season.

Young - Shit. Some value as a squad player, should be nowhere near first 11 in games like these.
Cleverley - Ugh.
Carrick - Overworked and almost over the hill.
Valencia - Ugggggghhhhhh.

Van Persie - Good but not given any service, wrong side of 30 and back to injury prone ways.
Rooney - Good enough.
 
That was one of the most appalling 45 mins of football I have witnessed and there is plenty competition from this seasons offerings.I have sworn more at the telly tonight than I have ever done.I actually feel like the enthusiasm is seeping away! I feel I don't wanna watch the second half but I will even though it will give me little pleasure.It's like having that fifth w*nk.You know you won't enjoy it but you still do it!
 
He can't keep getting away with picking these sides and setting them out like this, the arm chair fan could point it out.
 
Smalling has been terrible tonight, Vidic your best player, anyone tell me why Januzaj or Kagawa didnt play? Kags was doing well in Europe.

That is all very true and it hurts!
 
This game makes you wonder if we actually practice attacking in training, or is it all about making it 'hard' for the other side?

Story of our season, Moyes plays keep ball trying to get to the byline and crossing.
 
Smalling and Valencia have been dreadful. Rio hoofing as usual. Cleverley invisible but Carrick not much better tbh. RVP not involved at all, but not much his fault.

Vidic has been our best player with a crucial tackle. Rooney looks like hes trying, and Young not too bad.

I have to say though, Evra's offensive contribution and the space he creates for his winger is criminally taken for granted on here. Hes been more reason than Young for why our left is looking decent. Compare it to Smalling's inability to go forward and pathetic on-the-ball ability. We are going to miss Evra when he leaves, and badly, unless we get a top class replacement.
 
Horrible first half. Ferdinand, Smalling, Cleverley, Valencia and Young have all been awful. Vidic is the only player who can take some pride from his performance.
 
The lineup screams safe by moyes. Backfired so far. Flat 4-4-2 is a thing of the past in europe. Uninspiring stuff so far. Sloppy and slow, making olympiakos look good here. Joke.
 
We are playing the worst of the the last 16(what most claimed when the draw came out).

Its truly awful stuff we are playing.
 
Just when a performance shows promise like against Palace, we go and serve this up :rolleyes:
 
We definitely need an away goal in this tie with our abysmal home form this season. In 45 minutes we managed 1 shot, and it wasn't on target.
 
This is the nail in the coffin. Get him out.
