Our lad Ronaldo

He's a cnut

Saw a united fan in the crowd doing to wanker gesture at him, think it kind of sums up where he's at atm with the fans...didn't get a chear when he went off etc, no viva Ronaldo from what I could hear.

He's unhappy with himself. He's a bit frustrated that he is unable to reach his very best form right now. Patience it will come. He was a class above all the opposition players anyway. Stop looking for trouble.

I think he's more upset with his own performances. Being outshone by Rooney at the moment.

Sad state of affairs. Looks like the damage has been done though. It is sad when you think of what great player he is, yet doesnt have the rapport with the fans other players, some of even less quality , had with the fans

Will this happen after every game?

Even if he smiles, which he was doing a few times in the match, including before the match with Rooney, it will be 'he is only smiling because Calderon must have got in touch with him'

Looked like he got a cheer to me.

Im playing devils advocate here...when i first heard he might be sulking i thought bullocks but he certainly wasnt overly happy about something out there.

It may be his fitness but its worth mentioning. A goal would have made it really interesting.

P.s. the lad is not a cnut, hope this helps?

After his muted celebration on saturday i was concerned. now i agree with you, hes a perfectionist.

Some of you guys could work for The Sun.

Seriously though without going OTT you must admit his dimeanour is somewhat questionable. You'd think after the press reports he'd even go the other way and make a point of looking overly chummy to kill the story before it grows legs.

In any case the banter in the dressing room about it must be hilarious..id be ripping the pish out of him

What he said

He'll hit form, he'll smile, he'll decide important games, he'll be a United player for a few more seasons.

He may not be happy with his own form but he doesn't need to be so open about it, make it so obvious theres something bothering him. He just wants the attention, he knows his sad expressions will get people talking.

:lol::lol::lol:

Are we going to have a 5+ page 'Ronaldo looks unhappy' thread after every game??

Perhaps...perhaps... but it looked a bit more to me. anyhow, time will tell.

Surely you noticed he didnt do that token clap to the fans they all do when they go off??

given the speculation you have to say that wasnt the shrewdest move

I'm amazed by how much the sun shines out of Ronaldos arse according to some of you lot.

He'll be off next summer and deep down you all know it

Consider that we all expected him to start on the bench. Fergie even said Ronaldo read the media reports and was desperate to play and prove his fitness. If Ronaldo is unhappy then how must Tevez be feeling? He is eager to showcase his talents for us again.

and are you SAF?

No, he is the only one that decides when Ronaldo goes. When Ferguson wants to keep a player, he keeps them and I have yet to see this broken

Leave all that nonsense to the likes of Marca. We have our season to worry about and one of our most important players needs our support right now. He is currently below his very, very high standards even though he has done pretty well.

I didn't see Berbatov doing it either but he can get excused he was lazy enough not to.

Evenhow If the case we're talking bout here was accurate he wouldn't have clapped at the fans when he came off vs Boro.

It's got nothing to do with staying or being unhappy with the club or fans, he is pissed with his performances, but time will tell he will be back on form and things will be different.

Tevez cant be best pleased but hey thats a problem for fergie to deal with.

If its relevant then why not? dont understand why we cant have a sensible discussion about it. Its potentially rather important.

I agree its relevant and people clearly want to talk about it, but why not have it all in one nice thread tucked out of the way.

Call it 'The Ronaldo Paranoia Thread' or something. :p

I do understand people like to talk about it and some of you guys really enjoy a good conspiracy theory, it just makes me laugh every time i come on here after a game.

That's all.

Nothing personal Gus.

It's the season I worry about tbh.

If you have a player fannying around for attention like he has been doing then it begins to distract. Happened with Ruud, according to Saf...

well fair play, as i say i didnt see him in the boro game.

Shouldnt be too hard on himself. its always tough playing catch up without a proper preseason no matter how naturally fit he is.

another 5 games or so and he'll be back to normal, fitness wise
