Yeah, but whether his Twitter account is real or not, I don't know...

Christ this would be nice if it were a real quote...Pogba honestly would be about the best player on the planet that we could hope to sign over the summer apart from Messi or Ronaldo but I think that ship has sailed......I think the major interest in pogba will be a such that like Bale, Essien, Robben, Ronaldinho etc before him...it will look like we are on the verge of a monster signing according to the English tabloids only for a bigger fish in the transfer market to come along at the last second and snap him up without even breaking a sweat in the process

Guys, that Twitter account IS pretty old, and the majority of the tweets are about Wrexham. I'd be surprised if a WUM went to so much trouble. Could be legit I rate. *Undoes jeans button*

I eagerly await the next tweet from the pog family

That account will just turn into denying rumours if they're not careful

Going to assume the twitter account is fake due to the nature of the tweet. Theres no chance that story breaks from Pogba's brother blabbing before the world cup on twitter.

I'm at my spank station, I'm ready.

It's a WUM account, I know the lad who set it up but didn't think it was still running as he left Wrexham in 2012

Can't believe you guys believe it. Pogba plays for Crewe now anyway and can't speak a word of English nevermind type it.

It's weird that most of the tweets are about Wrexham, despite the fact he left them two years ago. It would be equally weird if it was just some Wrexham fan who kept it going, though

Ah lads come on. Nobody thinks its a co incidence this appears the day he's linked in the papers?

For all you people that avoid the Twitter thread, Daniel Taylor has confirmed that Moyes wanted to bring him back.

Just another nothing rumour to tide us over until the WC starts, no chance he is coming back, & to be honest I wouldn't really want him, the concerns mentioned in the article seem very understandable.

I still can't believe we had this guy on our books. We were looking for a world class CM. One of Fergies biggest mistakes was that Blackburn game line up.

Italy boss Cesare Prandelli has described Paul Pogba as the best midfielder in the world.

The Juventus ace is just 21 years of age but has already established himself as one of the top players in Serie A, playing a key role in the Bianconeri's last two title triumphs.

In his role as Azzurri coach, Prandelli has had the fortune to watch Pogba in action on a regular basis and he says the France international is currently peerless.

"Pogba is the best midfielder in the world," the 56-year-old told L'Equipe. "He can play in several roles. He has exceptional physical and technical capabilities.

"He knows when to arrive in the area and how to cause the opposition trouble. Moreover, he has a very strong character."

I remember saying (along with probably a few others) that we shouldn't sign a midfielder and give Pogba a chance a few years ago before he played for our first team. Apparently that was a daft idea, but now spending £60 mill to bring him back is a good idea. #caflogic

With all the talk about him coming back this week, is he worth it? We can know he is undeniably talented but what about the hassle off the pitch with himself and his agent? Do we need a round 2? And if we do get him for whatever the price - £50-60m, how exactly can we sell him for more than that and make a profit because he is going to want to leave at some point down the road for even more money. So should we sign him given the chance he is available?

Signing him would completely contradict this message that people have been putting across about van Gaal wanting players to play for Manchester United and being willing to play selflessly rather than playing for money.

Vidal won't like that! Can we have him please?

Other way round i think. He didn't leave for the money. Gill has said we matched what Juve offered. He left, quite rightly in my opinion, because SAF would rather trust Rafael and Park in a midfield 2 over him. He wanted to play for Manchester United and was denied the chance, and left for footballing reasons. If he's available, get him. He's better than anything we have.

I don't see any credence to the story what so ever.

I didn't mean that was why he left necessarily. I do think that would be one of the main reasons for him coming back though.

Don't look at it that way. If you start with a clean slate and do the math then it makes sense. He is 20 years old and one of the brightest talents in a position where we are lacking massively. We have been crying out for a midfield signing even before he left. Add that to the fact that Juventus knows we are desperate and we will not be able to provide CL football. Then Woody let it be known to the world that we will be blowing 150m over the summer.

If you ignore the history then this could prove to be a decent deal for us.

Nope. Never had any qualms about him leaving, really. Bags of ability but the attitude that led to him leaving made me think he wasn't really a loss. Since then, his continuous comments (which I find a bit strange, to be honest... he's doing very well, I don't see why he wants to talk about us) have reinforced that.

I just think he'd end up being more trouble than he'd be worth.
