How many more appearences for him to get a winners medal......would be tough to leave after that :)

8, I think.

Yep. This was his second league appearance. First came against Stoke at home where he coincidentally came on at exactly the same time he did today.

Thinking about Fergies words some more, that was quite a big and obvious statement FM style. "He is a first team player, there is no question about that". Literally sounds like an answer to his question or fear that he doesn't feel he is a part of the United first team and feels like a reserves player.

I have a feeling he will feature in Thursday and maybe a couple more appearances to get him to sign on followed by a season long loan next year at a Premiership Club.

In that case hes right in wanting to leave

Send him to Newcastle just so he can get the feel of a black and white strip.

It's basically glory or money right? Well, he could well win the Serie A next season if he leaves but I don't expect Juventus to do any great things in Europe. They've got an old core and not many France players. Plus, no racism from ultras if he manages to piss them off somehow.

Juventus are a side on the rise again.
There is life after united. I hope he stays and I think United are 'bigger', but Juventus isnt exactly a shit move with money.

Yup going out on loan has really fecked up young players like Wilshere, Sturridge, Welbeck, Cleverley.

To be fair those players all call England home. Ferguson has said that he prefers to have the foreign youngsters at Carrington while they find their feet in the country.

That has nothing to do with whether or not Pogba would/should want to leave if SAF did want to loan him out.

I never said it did, I just pointed out that you just presented examples of four English players who have spent successful loan spells at other English clubs. Different from Pogba's situation.

But what relevance is it to the discussion at hand? Is there any?

I was tempted to list a load of foreign players who have benefited from a domestic loan but what's the point? What would it have to do with Pogba wanting to leave or not?

I don't know and neither do you nor him. We just don't know. For all we know Pogba approached SAF to say that he's happy with our monetary offer but that he wants more 1st team opportunities or more playing time. SAF could possibly have told him that he'll get chances and might be loaned out to give him more time. He might not have like the loan option we were presenting. Who knows? We simply don't know do we? But that obviously doesn't stop us from speculating.

City also lost on that day. So all we have to do is bring Pogba on whenever we want City to lose.

there are plenty of examples where that actually happened. Currently we have kiko in limbo with hughes seemingly not giving a shit. But I don't think we should loan him out and we probably won't need to.

It's always a bit of a gamble. Macheda's Sampdoria and QPR loans, Rossi at Newcastle and Campbell at Spurs have all proved that Loan spells can effectively stall or even set back a young player's career.

It has to be the right club/manager and then you have to hope that there isn't a situation where a new manager comes in, or new signings are made.

Campbell was a bit of a shite one too aye.

Its these kind of statements that i dont think are helping.

The agents response to Fergie saying this will be to say to United and Pogba "if he's a first teamer why is not being rewarded like one and why isnt he involved".

If he chooses to listen to that twat he deserves everythign he gets.

I wouldn't mind losing Pogba if it means that horrible cnut is nowhere near our football club.

He's part of the first team, sign a deal relfective of being a young player with future prospects and prove yourself.

What would you had rather Fergie had said?

I think Solius means he needs 8 more league games to qualify for a medal (Stoke + WBA + 8 more = 10 league games = medal if we win the league).
