Probably because Munich has less harsh winters.
That's literally the exact opposite of what the graphs show

Probably because Munich has less harsh winters.
It is indeed a worry. The lack of structure and an overarching vision at our club is very worrying and we will fall further behind if we don't address this problem as soon as possible.
This is mainly for another thread but I think we're close to where you were last year in the sense that if we spend the £130-£150m this summer on 3 real quality players, in the right areas like you did last summer, (CB and attack for us this year, CB and attack for you last summer) then we can compete for the title. A lot of the rest is in place and the squad isn't as bad as it's being made to look. We have overspent at times to build our squad but that isn't in the least bit surprising.
We're not great in the transfer market and I wouldn't have the greatest faith that we get those 3 signings right like you guys did with Otamendi, De Bruyne and Sterling. But we can only wait and see.
Don't agree we need to fill several positions. We have a very clearly defined vision: grow the commercial operations to saturation
point then sell the club.
My feeling is the commercial side will peak/saturate in 3-6 years and the Glazer's will cash out. I think our underinvestment on the youth side is a reflection of this shorter term thinking.
Just three of the several positions we need to fill will be more costly than £150m.
This summer, expect prices to increase substantially on 2015:
New TV deal kicks in.
Lots of clubs looking to spend
Scarcity of talent
Sterling and KDB were absolute steals in my opinion. Superb young talents. Exactly what we need.
West Ham then. Point is it doesn't take 300m to develop talent as the City development propaganda tells us.Second time you've made this ridiculous and entirely unsubstantiated claim.
Southampton is a completely different situation as well, they are the biggest club in their region by some distance and have little competition to attract the best talents in their area. In the north-west it's considerably more competitive. Not saying Southampton don't deserve credit, just that it's an important factor many people overlook.
West Ham then. Point is it doesn't take 300m to develop talent as the City development propaganda tells us.
It's an open secret City approaches all of United's prospects with outlandish offers. Deny it all you want, doesn't really matter to me. I must have imagined United threatening to boycott matches v City due to City approaching every young United talent they could get close to.
Oh well
Not many articles on the ins and outs of youth football in England and lets be honest, you know that. It's an open secret to everybody who has an interest in the underage sides. City's aggressive talent drive is well documented as is Uniteds threat to boycott derby games because of it.For such an open secret could you please post a source?

Angel Gomes would be the most famous example of this, he has City knocking on his door daily to turn his back on us with each offer higher than the last.
Acting dumb now when you all you do is jump into the forum armed with City facts as to how United posters are always wrong in all aspects of Manchester City is disingenuous at best.
Be inclined all you want.Ok, so you don't have any sources. I find it hard to believe every single United prospect has City offering them a blank cheque as you're effectively implying. City have a huge scouting network, so for one it makes no sense. It would imply United had all the best youth players and all are conveniently deemed perfect for the system City try and implement in their youth teams. It also ties into the view of City as reckless spenders. All in all I'm inclined to dismiss it as fabricated nonsense or at best a grossly exaggerated account based on one or two instances.
Gribbin is another, and the Mirror had an article on that tooBe inclined all you want.
Rashford last year is another example where you went balls to the wall to get him to switch alliances and I could go on. United have threatened to boycott derby games a few times over the years but that must be over who gets the bigger dressing room etc.
Obviously.
It's not just United but Liverpool and Everton have had City approach their most promising youngsters and aren't happy with the constant pressure.Gribbin is another, and the Mirror had an article on that too
Says he's coming to England
Says he has several offers from England but hasn't decided.
Can't believe we aren't one of the several offers. Would be negligent if it's not the case.
Don't let @FCBarca hear you...As great as Pep may (or may not) be, he was always going to be a "mercenary". There's nothing wrong with that, but it was always palpable that he just saw Bayern as another notch in the bedpost. I won't really miss him.
Not that Ancelotti isn't a "mercenary", mind you.
Don't let @FCBarca hear you...
Beat me to itDon't let @FCBarca hear you...
You speak as a romantic fan - Pep (and many footballers) dont see it that way whatsoverI still don't believe that he will go to city over us.
A) City are not by a significant margin the best team in England
B) Lack of history for a Mercenary Manager
C) Lack of any stylised football that Guardiola can work on
It's between us & arsenal.
There isn't a challenge managing City for a man who managed Barcelona & Bayern - almost similar to how players will always move to Real Madrid. Simply- The name isn't there.

What was hypocritical or bitter about his post? He said he was a mercenary (which he definitely seems to be) and that there was no problem with that.@Piratesoup illustrated both his bitterness and hypocrisy in the same post.
Désolé RIP, mais bien essayer

That's fine if that's your opinion, but someone believing that he is a mercenary doesn't render that person's opinion de facto bitter, does it?Why people use the world mercenary instead of adventurous? I don't think that Guardiola moves for financial reasons, he just wants to live new adventures in different places.

You're wrong I'm afraid and looking at it with the rose tinted united glasses on.
Like it or not city are one of the most attractive clubs to manage around at the moment for any manager because there is the huge potential to turn them into one of the best teams in Europe. They already have a decent team with a few individual top quality players but have lacked a manager able to take them to the next level, perhaps most important though is they have an owner that's invested ALOT of money in various things and seems prepared to invest much more where needed.
I don't understand your point when you say managing city wouldn't be a challenge for guardiola, it will be his biggest managerial challenge he's faced and one I think he will take. I'll be very suprised if guardiola isn't city manager next season.
I wouldn't be complaining though if he ended up at United id love him here but can't see it at all
Now these are one of the darkest red-tinted glasses on the Caf. I believe you'll be proven wrong on all three arguments you brought forward, i.e. on the last one. At Barca, Pep refined a style that the club have followed for year. At Bayern, he built upon the foundations of van Gaal and Heynckes. At City though, he's the one who can lay foundations for an era. That's one of the most tempting opportunities for a manager, particularly if there's an abundance of finances available and key officials are good ole buddies.I still don't believe that he will go to city over us.

It's really funny that he picked you out of all the Bayern fans on the Caf for that reply. I think I called you a very frustrating, spoilt and/or depressing Bayern fan a few times over the last 2 years because of your constant complaining about Pep's tactics and match selections. It would have been surprising to read that you'll miss Pep after he's gone.According to FCBarca, everybody who doesn't prostrate himself constantly in front of the messiah Pepus of Barzareth is a bitter hypocrite.
