PL fixtures & FA Cup Semifinals Apr 22-27

End to that game was hilarious.

Why the feck was Alexis booked for, apart from being an annoying bellend? There can't be a rule against standing near the touch line when someone's taking a long throw?!

Pretending to have been hit in the face and trying to get the other bloke sent off is worthy of a yellow surely?

Spurs aren't winning the title and Arsenal aren't getting top 4. These games are irrelevant really.

So if u can't win anything u have no pride to win? Laughable comment. I bet if United played every game from now till the end of the season like they didn't care Jose would be toast.

So uneducated it's unreal! Compared to 5 other sides we work on a shoe string, we're competing with less money and depending More on coaching and building than "we will win the title next season" mentality. There are only 3 possible trophies, 5 into 3 don't go.

It's almost to easy to get a bite from the Spurs fans on this site.

The loss to Palace was the nail in the coffin for Arsenal. They're not going to beat both Spurs and United (along with the other games).

What?

They're 4 points away from 4th place now, so they still have a chance if you considered us have it.

3 possible domestic trophies? We have competitors with bigger reasorces than us, your always going to have people who don't win a trophy. For example this season, possibly Chelsea twice and Man Utd win the domestic silverware. Does that clear it up?

Just saying I can't see Arsenal getting in top four. If they hadn't lost to Palace away then maybe but they're relying on a few teams above to screw up.

I think its unlikely we will with the fixtures we have left, but Arsenal have similar difficulty of fixtures (have to play Everton, United and Spurs) and they're three points behind us with the same number of games played. Can't see them overtaking two of the teams above them with their busy schedule to end the season. City and Liverpool still favourites IMO.

I don't see these results adding to it in any way. All we have to worry about is our own games, City's and Pool's. Whether we finish 5th or 6th doesn't really matter.

City are more under pressure than us also, as they're top 4 now and in danger of losing it. We can finish 6th and win Europe League anyway.

All pressure is on Pep.

Yep City and Liverpool are favourite but there's still a chance for any team behind them as long as there are games to play.

Even if it is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, it was a very impressive win from Spurs. Showed a bit of grit when they couldn't rely on blowing teams out of the water.

I got what you were saying I don't get the point you were trying to make. Even if there were 5 trophies (5 goes into 5!) that doesn't mean everyone can get one, one team could win all 5.

Also yeah the other sides compete on bigger resources than Spurs that's a fair point. It shows Spurs are doing really well to be where they are consistently. I'm not sure it can be excuse for finishing trophyless though. Leicester won the title not so long ago with even more limited resources than yourselves.

The days of a team doing the treble are gone, I mean due to the money involved with lower level clubs. I mean squads like Chelsea and City have massive resources and bigger squads to spread the competitions across. This season we have lost 3 key players for long periods, Kane twice.

I mean I here Man Utd supporters saying now the League Cup is more important than top 4, yet when you were competing at the top of the league the league cup was seen as a "tin trophy", plus cup competitions are 50% the draw. Don't get me wrong I want a trophy so bad and we need one to establish ourselves, but so far on the 3rd season of Pochs plan I'm very happy.

Brinkmanship in what I wish for but thank God Arsenal and Spurs both won. Just about keeps their interest high enough to not throw their respective games against Utd in May.

Now on to tomorrow where Arsenal have made City shit it even more. They'll have to produce a huge performance not just to try finishing third but fourth at worst.

I believe that you're allowed to stand in front but not jump up & down like an annoying bellend.

Was there a 2nd ball thrown in from the grassy knoll that hit him in face?

Oh wow, I didn't know Spurs v Arsenal was this Sunday. If Spurs win, they'll be guaranteed to finish above Arsenal.

I don't mind Arsenal coming Top 4 if we don't make it. It'll push one of Liverpool or City into the Europa, give us 2 more years of Wenger and they'd go out to Barca in the R16 anyway.

That as well as Everton Chelsea. Could be a big day in the title race...or the day it ends.

It seems Arsenal have won 3 games in a row playing 3 at the back.....interesting

It's amazing what Spuds get away with game after game. They are by far the dirtiest side of the top teams and they barely get carded. The ref outdid himself in this game.

It's pretty simple.

Chelsea, Tottenham, City, and United control their own destiny for the top 4.

Chelsea needs 1 point to guarantee top 4 and 12 points to guarantee the title.

Spurs need 5 points (out of 15) to guarantee top 4.

City needs 15 points (out of 18) to guarantee top 4.

United needs 16 (out of 18) to guarantee top 4.

79 points guarantees top 4 as Arsenal and Liverpool can get no more than 78.

:lol:That was funny. He's such a fanny with his play-acting though, deserved a booking.
