Post-match discussion

I've lost the ability to be angry at this result. I'm only waiting for the inevitable end.

Toilet.

Toilet manager, toilet players, toilet!

But, Juan Mata will write a blog about how it's important to improve and keep believing and Chris Smalling will come out with some other barrell of shit as per usual, instead of doing it on the pitch

In a way, it perfectly sums up the club at the moment. All talk and no action
Mata's blog is enough of a reason to sell him, let alone his disappearing act on the pitch.

Such a flat and crap performance at home after a win at Liverpool the previous match. Completely unacceptable.

In fairness the Liverpool win was a robbery, we've been awful for three months now. Surely the board have seen enough.

Today was our worst attacking display yet.

We made it hard for them it has to be said. Our 5-4-1 system nearly paid off. Almost got us the point.
The cheese eating feck should have been sacked after the Norwich game.

Derby will beat this side. They are complete and utter shite. Not that much between this side and the relegation fodder. We play like we are going for 40 points.

Setup not to score out to the gate, it's unbelievable how stubborn the man is...not sure if he thinks a miracle will happen and we'll just start banging them in.

If he's not sacked now then I don't understand the board one bit.

Mourinho in.

Feelgood factor from last week evaporated in minutes. Setting up as if Barca were coming to Old Trafford. Januzaj getting five minutes at the end with Memphis another attacking option too. He can't be defended at all and brought this on himself, he just doesn't get it.

cannot find words to explain the perplexing instructions. What the eff are we doing playing 352 and a defensive one? The players don't know what each other are doing, no planned outlet on the break, no coherence, no fecking idea. The players are guilty of non performing but LVG is just fecking insanely clueless. Has to go. This is not an overreaction. None of the LVG out folks are overreacting.

There wasn't a single chance that LvG can point out. United having been extremely clinical with the few chances each game this season has kept him in job but you can't bank on scoring from 1-2 chances and win 1-0.

Mata brought on life in the 2nd half but that's to be expected when you're playing a team that's barely attacking and he's coming on for Fellaini. The tempo he brought on with him was killed when Long took out Darmian.

Rooney is still shit, no tap-in or penalty to hide that performance.

Lingard and CBJ aren't wing backs (who knew?).

Top four isn't going to be easy, I'd like to think this will be the final straw but doubt it. That was a struggle to watch, once again, another tumescent, tumescent United game. We are a mess right now.

Football used to be fun to watch. LvG did well to kill that sometime ago... i cant recall the last time i looked forward to seeing us play.

God at least earlier in the season we were playing badly and still getting points. Right now i cant see us making the top 4

Where does the blame lay? The young defenders who arent very good yet? The forwards who create nothing despite all costing a fortune and being paid crazy amounts. The midfielders who cant control a game? The manager who decides its a good idea to play 5 at the back and 2 deep lying midfielders at home?

Its all shit.

The Liverpool result masked what a shitty performance it was and how nothing had changed, we just happened to take the one chance that fell our way but it was no different to any of the other games that drove fans mad. This result isn't really a surprise, our form hasn't turned around at all we just got a couple of better results.

Jesus, a Swedish pundit on Swedish TV just said "This is fecking Manchester United, what's going on!?" now we're costing people around the world their jobs, we're that shit he'd rather get fired than watch us again.

Extremely frustrating to watch such listless displays every week.

We look devoid of energy and ideas. Attacking play is absolutely zero. No movement off the ball, no fast incisive passing, no creativity and no perpetrating. What's the point in spending so much money if we can't even threaten the opposition box.

Injuries aside LVG needs to take the blame. I will take Giggs till the end of the season, even if to ar least see something new.

The amount of money we wasted on this guy is repulsive. We need to set a financial limit on any new manager we hire and determine their ability with the resources at their disposal.

When Paddy Crerand says we were awful, just awful... you know we were absolutely worthless.

It is an absolute joke that he's still in a job. We've gone backwards and there are no signs of it improving.

Get him out before he causes more damage, the useless clown.

Can't we have a normal poll for those of us not on Twitter?

Absolutely dire, so much mediocrity throughout the squad. I'm so sick of the likes of Blind, Lindgard, Fellaini and even Schneiderlin - mediocrity personified. With CBJ, you can accept that he's young and learning on the job, but Blind was absolutely dire in his passing, the aspect of his game that is supposed to be his strong point. I'm also worried about Herrera - he hasn't looked anything like the player we saw last season. Mata has underwhelmed, but at least he can control the ball and move it quickly (and make a run looking for the return pass.) There really is nothing positive to take away from this.

We can't keep playing this badly and grinding out lucky wins. We were fortunate against Liverpool but got punished today. Horrendous performance.

I think it'll be a proper wake up call for a lot of fans who think just playing counter attacking football means that we can't be boring.

What we watched today is exactly what we would watch if we got mourinho. 99% of counter attacking is not exciting.

Doesn't really suit LVG is something that we learned too

Already are quite a few polls on caf with majority saying he should have been sacked a while back.

Absolutely abysmal, even by LVG's very low standards. We are getting worse every game that passes. The chorus of boos at half time and fulltime prove beyond any doubt at all that LVG has lost the fans. The reaction of SAF to the goal was also telling. Its inconceivable that LVG will be our manager next week. Give Giggsey the job for the rest of the season and move heaven and earth to have Pep in charge for next season.
