Not posted for a long time here.
"No direction" this sums up the players, management, board and the club in general.
This game, is just one of many where we have lacked it. In all departments of the pitch we lack leadership, someone to push the players and expect a higher standard. All this aimless football at the start of the season has us stuck in a rut.

We cant seem to sign players, our youth setup seems to have turned into a shambles by all accounts (I used watch the youth games back in the day they were entertaining)
This summer will be important to stop our slide into mid table mediocrity. Early decisions and early signings with a sense of direction is what is needed for the club. What I foresee is a lot of faffing re new manager and more dodgy last minute signings.

He is actually beaten Moyes Record

At this stage he is doing worse than Moyes was (Moyes had 42 points). Worst amount of points ever in the league for United.

its not like the old days. we have been poor. We have so much money..after all that...and these appointments...the team looks a shadow.
In fairness there are glimpses of what this team can do. Nobody can take away from some of the players and there is an effort but somethings not working.

Well that was shocking.... I don't really have much more to say about that game. I knew it was just another false dawn. That didn't help my hangover one bit.

Ugly day. Ugly team display today. I think it's pretty safe to say LVG is not the guy. But there is no way he will leave before the spring.

Mou in the summer to save the planet.

Sometimes when you are in a bad run, its almost impossible to get back on track. We are there now and we will probably need to do changes to get on track.

Rubbish. The second half was shocking. No aggression, terrible in possession + defending like muppets. Terrible.

We won two games on the trot and played well against Chelsea. We were already on the right track. Unless, you are talking about a totally different track altogther.

Last minutes Carrick loses the ball to Van Aanholt, instead of running after him he just throws his arms in the air, cursing himself. Sums everything up that is wrong with the team. They have 0 belief, they don't give 100% anymore to win a game, they lack passion and desire. If you have to say something like that about a senior figure like Carrick you know how wrong things are within the club.

LVG is a cancer to the club and Woodward is refusing us the cure.

Everyone at the club seems to have given up on this season. The cnut should've been sacked a long time ago.

I thought we were in a good run?

We were shot in battle, and ignored the wound. The bleeding has gone on for too long. This PL season is over.

Didnt help when LvG sends him to the right either... Shocking decision

True, he also had to track back the most dangerous of their full backs. You could say that there was a hope that throwing Memphis in would work out as a "reshuffling of the deck" in the final third but if i was Martial, i would be really pissed. He's our best attacking player and he moves him away from his position just because the player who's brought on doesn't give a flying rats arse about defending.

So it will better for my blood pressure if I don't watch this later? I'll just go and make my self a hot chocolate and have a cream egg to cheer myself up.:(
Do yourself a favour and skip it. Wouldn't be a bad idea to find a clip of Martial's goal though. Nice composure from him to score our goal..

Im talking about continuity, not doing better for a few matches. Am I wrong?

That game versus Chelsea was poor, people keep saying we played well, we didn't and it still gets me fecking pissed off people keep saying it !

We also lost to Souton

couldn't win against Newcastle

Now this shit game again

all on the back of the most terrible december month in the hisotry of the club

Feck off that we are on the right track. Stop deluding yourself man...

Top 4 as good as gone, spineless performance sprinkled with lots of bad luck. If I'm being honest I'm not even arsed which is an obvious sign that I've accepted we're shit.

Mourinho in the summer can't come quick enough.

Can we move Woodward's calender on and convince him summer is here?

2 DMs against a relegation battling team.
Only having one up front when we need to win and its 1-1.

The guy cant change games, and when he tries, we come out worse. How can you move away Martial from Left and not put him up top? Madness.

And what exactly was said at half time? We were worse after this. Madness.

Reading through the comments, and i'm glad i chose to go skiing today instead of watching United play :)

It's not even a surprise we lost, it's the same as under Moyes, a decent result followed by a crap result until the season is gone. Van Gaal has been trying to perpetuate this myth about our form since the New Year to ease the pressure on himself and fool people but it's nonsense. We haven't even managed to win two league games in a row in that time, struggled against a League One side and we've put in some of our worst performances of the season. We were never on a good run or in form.

Rooney and Mata were very average which represents 1/2 of the attack. Rooney back to his take the safe route self and Mata's passing was off.

Exactly. In Fergie's time when the wingers weren't having any luck down their respective flanks, we would switch them around. This guy does it but when we are having so much joy down the left with Martial. I conclude that he just wanted to bring Depay on and Depay can only play on the left. Another in a long line of uninspired substitution from him!

That looks beautiful, proper jealous of you right now!

Just started skiing again, after 15 years break.
That ski resort and another about the same size, are 1,5-2 hours drive from me, and absolutely worth driving there.
-10 celsius and sunny, absolutely brilliant! :)

Watching MUTV and they've just said, 'interstingly enough United had 66% possession today.'
No. It's not interesting. I don't give a flying ferret about flipping possession. I care about goals, excitement and fight. We are bang average at the minute. You can stick your possession stats right up your stats trumpet you twatbadgers!
