Frustrating and disappointing. Any dreams of the title this season should be out to bed. Our away form simply doesn't back that claim up. We had plenty of attacking talent out there but the lack of conviction in front of goal has cost us. We aren't as ruthless as teams like Chelsea and Man City, who would have killed off Spurs with those 1st half chances.

Dreaming of the title was done by delusional people even at the start of the season.

If our training sessions weren't all about body slamming each other we might have been able to freshing things up.

Could have easily won 3-0, but just as easily lost 1-0 in the end.

I think it's 2 points dropped, but glad the unbeaten run has continued, plus playing the same team 43 hours later is unheard of.

Good effort.

Carrick looked done for an hour in and after that we had no midfield. We really need Hererra and Fellaini back soon.

Good first half, bad second half. Deserved point for both teams.

I have started disliking Van Persie this season, for being the most selfish player in the history of Man United. He seems to deliberately don't pass to the other attacking players. He either passes wide to Valencia, or backwards to Carrick. Does he think that it would be too bad if one of our other strikers score goal or what? If I was his manager, I would have completely dropped him for a few matches. A good player, but extremely selfish and hurts the team.

Young and Valencia. While we can all agree that Valencia is awful, I don't get why Young gets praised. The only thing that he manages to do right is staying wide which makes him free. Then there are two things he is able to do:
1) Try to cross but fails at it by hitting the first player
2) Try to dribble and then cross which either hits the first player or goes in row Z.

If I won't ever see him or Valencia playing as wing backs, I would be a much happy person.

Falcao was bad today. In fact, on second half he was barely able to walk.

And finally, why Jones and Rafael are so eager to give free kicks when there is no danger at all from those actions?

Mata and Rooney were good, Mata in particular was like a Butler with a silver dining tray that Falcao and RvP failed to eat off.

I see Young got a high rating but I thought his delivery was poor quite often today and Valencia and Rafael offered very little in the RWB role as neither beat a man.

Defensively Jones was good but Evans and McNair were a bit shaky at times.

Overall I'm irritated by the referee's endless homer decisions on the 50/50's and frustrated with our strikers inability to bury Spurs in the first half, it's 2 points dropped not 1 gained IMO.

The longer that went on the less confident I felt about us scoring.

This. The game became more painful as the game went on, just knew when we missed those clear chances (RVP 1v1 vs Lloris, and chance off the free kick) it wasn't going to be our day. Really should have had 3 in that first half.

Extremely bothered about that. Its 4 points from 9 so far in the Christmas period, pretty mediocre.

Falcao may be coming back to fitness, but he is definitely not fit enough for two 90 min games in two days.

RVP, Mata and Falcao should have scored their chances. We could have won by 2-3 goals easily; this was definitely two points dropped as opposed to one point gained.

Arsenal will only be 3 points behind if they win.

Let's be honest, the title is not happening but we need to ensure we get 3rd place.

Not a bad result on the face of it but with the chances we had we should have won.

Fair result, we barely got out of our half in the second half. Distribution from the back was poor and Rooney and Mata didn't influence things after the break. Shame we didn't score in the first half. At least we didn't lose and Spurs haven't gained ground on us in the Champions League spots

Draw was probably the fair result. We should have had the game buried in the first half but Lloris unfortunately was playing a blinder. Spurs were very good in the second half and we just couldn't break the pressure.

Falcao was poor today and fluffed his chances but he will hopefully have better days. RVP tried hard but he too fluffed his chances and was largely ineffective. Rooney and Carrick weren't bad over the course of the game but was hoping for more when it got tough. Solid performances from De Gea and Young while Mata probably put in his best away day performance of the season.

Happy to take the point and will hopefully fair better against Stoke.

Spurs looked very ordinary and if we had scored in the first half then we would have won the game easily. We were due a performance like that as we have been winning games without creating much, as always when we play two up front we ran out of legs in the second half and in the end we could have ended up losing.

McNair looked totally out of his depth was very lucky to get away with some poor moments today, we really need di Maria and Herrera back ASAP and I fear for us against stoke if we have to pick a similar a team.

We were unlucky not to score in the first half. Wasted chance after chance in the second half. Imagine how we could have played with Di Maria and Herrera in the team.

If Chelsea win today, that means they go 12 points ahead of us. We can kiss the league goodbye I think. We have dropped 4 crucial points against Villa and Spurs now.

This result would have been far worse had it been at OT. I think with a couple of days perspective people will realize that this result is acceptable. Tottenham were looking like candidates to nick a goal out of nowhere and they have been a bogey team of late anyways. The key will be to get everyone healthy and dominate them at OT in a few weeks.

We were excellent in the first part, shame we missed so many chances. In the second half you could see the players were tired and that because of the injuries we didn't have any solution from the bench.

- Mata's first game away from home where he was actually good.
- Everyone was blowing out of their arse after 55 minutes.
- van Gaal is clearly desperate for that right and left-sided balance, expect us to look more comfortable now Shaw and Rafael are back. Jonny Evans as a left sided player does not work.
- Should've scored at least 3 first half, finishing was muck.

Piss poor second half, the constant hoofing it upfield from the back followed by one of the strikers making a stupid foul every 2 minutes.

Very frustrating to watch and quite predictable too. We only have ourselves to blame for missing so many chances in the first half when we were well on top. The second half was so predictably scrappy and bereft of any cohesive play whatsoever.

Just a note on the ref who somewhat ruined the game as any sort of spectacle with his constant whistle blowing.

Fair result considering our poor second half.
Not overly dissapointed about the result neither.

Falcao, Rooney and RVP all had very good opportunities and didn't take them. Robin your a great guy but from 3 yards out just shoot. We weren't going to win the league anyway drawing away to Villa. Just have to ensure we beat stoke and get back to winning ways.

those missed chances were huge today. The ref made some strange decisions...card happy with us and let them get away with all kinds of stuff.

happy enough with the point. The title is not possible but we can still finish well in the top 4.

Not too bad a result. I missed the first half unfortunately, and it sounds like we really should have been ahead. Second half was ok, didn't create all that much (though Mata really ought to have scored) but also didn't give Spurs many chances (only the Mason shot that I can think of). A draw was fair from the second half, but from the sounds of it we deserved to win on the balance of the whole game.

A bit of a shame that in the dying minutes it was Spurs pushing, but not too surprising given that they were at home and some Spurs fan had been given the referee's whistle on the hour mark.

Our away form needs sorting out, to have only won two games away from home is not good enough for a team with the aspirations we have.

Home form alone is enough to get top four this season given how the others around us are equally inconsistent but it's definitely something worth noting how are away form is what's costing us any sort of title challenge.

Mata and RVP missed sitters plus our whole midfield was out. We should have won that one.

I'm not sure we played that well first half, everytime I've seen Tottenham even against shit sides they've given up loads of chances and yet fluked a win. We weren't clinical enough then but at least we didn't concede or allow them too many opportunities. Not sure why the feck Van Gaal changed 3 of the defence when we were under more pressure and yet didn't change the system.
I was expecting an Eriksen goal in the final minutes after a mistake at the back. Played out like a typical Tottenham match. Shit for 70-80 minutes but somehow manage not to lose.

I enjoyed the game, although Spurs frustrated us in the first half. They've become somewhat of a bogey team for us of late.

On the balance of play, a draw was fair. We can't keep dropping points like this though with the chances we had. Our away form has to improve.

Watch Spurs roll over for Chelsea now, the cnuts.

We were never going to win it this season anyway. This season's all about getting back in Europe, preferable with a good cup run.

Should've won it in the first half. Mata easily our best player, especially in the first half and he could've had 2 or 3 assists in the first half alone. Unlucky not to score as well. RVP back to being the wasteful player he was earlier in the season. Falcao looked completely out of it, first time he's looked really poor for us. Those two are the reason we didn't win. Defence was shaky as usual, but we did well to limit their chances. Spurs only looked dangerous from set-pieces, which they got alot of because of shite refereeing.

Knew at the start it was gonna be one of those games we should win but we'd struggle to, and it turned out that way. Spurs don't look anything special based on this match, and disappointing to drop 2 points there.

Excellent first half and then as expected spuds made the adjustments in the second half and closed down our defenders more quickly. Which then led to an absolute shitfest of "football".

Still, we had the chances to win it from RVP/Mata but neither had their shooting boots on today.

Not a bad result considering we have always struggled at white hart lane. In fact, probably the best performance we have had there in a while. Unlucky not to get the 3 points but good to see we kept the clean sheet.

I felt the injuries also dictated our substitutions which meant our attacking players were really running on fumes towards the end. Falcao/RVP should have been taken off for fresher legs if we had the subs left. Which leads you to think whether Evans will ever be anything more than a squad player. Always hurt and just looks shaky. We really need to buy an influential centreback to lead our backline. It will make a world of difference.

RVP, Mata and Falcao should've scored one. But the ref allowed Spurs to bully us and we were tired, then you always lack a bit of sharpness.

Very lucky for Spurs, they weren't half as dangerous as we were. Better to quickly forget this happened.

Definitely had heavy legs in the second half. Good clean sheet and I hope Rafael and Shaw returning means a back 4 next game.

RvP should have had 2 goals-just wasn't his day. Take the point and get ready for Stoke.
Rafael shouldn't be in the starting eleven after a performance like that he was our worst player today and with some margin to.

Chelsea and City are just gonna escape more and more after that kind of performance. There's still a lot of work for LVG to create a team capable of finishing matches in style and bagging 3 points like we should today.

More quality to the squad, less injuries and maybe then we will be storming through fixtures without loss of points.

Wasn't that bad but somehow very disappointing in the end.
