I actually thought Darmian was alright. Got up and down, put in a few good crosses. Didn’t mess anything up. Lindelof was poor though. Looked uncomfortable throughout. McTominay was good as well. He’s comfortable on the ball, linked up well and wasn’t afraid to try a risky to make things happen, particularly in the first half. He took a backseat in the second half when he just had to recycle the ball to the playmakers.
Back in the day, Bob Dylan went electric. Thousands of punters, across the planet went to his gigs and booed. They didn’t listen to the songs or the music. They learnt from press reports and others in their cohort that this was the way to be, the cool thing to do at a Dylan show. Right now the consensus view is that the scapegoat player is Darmian. It’s cool to attack him viciously, to echo the views of his detractors. You know about football and you know about United, and the Caf is a safe place for you and your opinion. Zilch, zero, nada to do with any actual game/player/performance. Luckily. :)
Ps: the Darmian thread!

Well thanks pal. Love Dylan btw, early and electric.

Got a ticket to this quite late and thought about not going, but I’m glad I did in the end. Pretty perfunctory, but given our showings against lower league sides lately (and results like Spurs’ today) it was good to get those late goals and a solid 4-0, and especially good to see Sanchez play well and Gomes get a run out.

It is kind of amazing how many 4-0s we’re racking up this season, and how many of them are achieved with a late flurry, but it is what it is. I’m certainly not complaining. Biggest non-Sanchez shouts to Herrera (who clearly loves these kinds of games) Lukaku, Lingard and Gomez. And the guy that kept up the “If Sanchez scores we’re on the pitch” and “We all know Conte wears a wig” chants through sheer force of will.

He played on the left. But was drifting inside instead of playing wide.
Thank you. Watched the game on replay. Yes he did play on the left but like to come inside. Would like to see where he'll play against tottenham and if Martial will play.
