Premier Le4gue Gam3week 14

What the hell is up with people these days? So much overreaction after one game. Pep has been shown up, Eddie Howe was overrated earlier in this thread. Ridiculous.
Football fans for you, opinion changes on a day by day basis. Howe has been doing a very good job, he's rated exactly as how he should be IMO.

This Barca fella is dragging down the joyous atmosphere. I call threadban!
Banned from having a different opinion from someone who posted about other leagues in the PL thread? Yeah okay little kid...

So Bournemouth have defeated United, Chelsea and Pool in the last calendar year. All while playing positive football

Damn i missed the Liverpool game. Didn't think B'mouth would turn up after seeing halftime score

Online forums and platforms, everyone looks for a reaction to be noticed.

I don't think we do look that shaky with him in the side personally. Without him we've conceded 8 goals from the 17 conceded this season. I don't think we can win the league but I still expect us to get top four from the position we're in.

You deserve and should get top 4.

The incredible free scoring world class Liverpool score 3 in a 7 goal thriller.

Just trying to guess how the scouse loving media will dress this up

Nobody deserves top 4 in the first week of December

Of course but based on their performance so far assuming they're even 80% as good as that for remainder of season I would be surprised if they don't get top 4. They look a much better team than Arsenal who are being carried by Sanchez.

Howe's decision to bring on Fraser must be one of the smartest decisions of the season

Some great comedy today.

That was never a pen though. Oliver is shite.

The funniest thing is Utd fans may actually have been better off supporting Liverpool to draw or win as now Bournemouth are within reach of Utd, i.e .3 points behind. That's practically a one off 6-pointer fixture. What a weird and wonderful season. :)

I think they're concentrating on the cup now.

Yep, looked like a dive. Fellaini is the clumsiest player I've seen in the PL. Really shouldn't be in the box at all.

It's a contact sport and the player was looking for it. Sort of thing Ashley Young and Rooney do week-in week-out though, so bovvered.

FFS.

Matip has missed 3 games. We've conceded 9 in those three.

Tells a story about Lovren. He's decent when someone else can sort things out. Crumbles under pressure.

Couldn't even get to enjoy the City and Liverpool defeats this weekend!

What the feck! Bournemouth won?!?!

Liverpool were 2-0 up after 30 odd minutes when I last checked and it looked like a drubbing

Do you reckon we'll throw ridiculous money at our feeder club for Van Dyke now? We need a Pulisic/Dembele type of player plus Van Dyke this January in all honesty. Will probably cost 50-70m in total though.

Don't Think we'll go for vvd. We should though. It's one of those you'll look back on and say 'that was a no-brainer to give us a top class central defence for half a decade to come, wasn't it?'

Him and Matip are both of the quality to solve problems for their team mates, besides covering their own job. And both can play a bit as well.

Can't believe I missed this Liverpool game, turned it off at 1-0.

But We're (Chelsea) slowly breaking away from the pack. And our next 4 matches look winneable.

Yeah. I read a few reactions from City fans at HT of the Liverpool game and they were ready to concede top 4 and get into a battle with WBA and United for 5th place.

Liverpool, though still playing well, are starting to hit a wall. Conversely Arsenal are looking strong as they do at this point of every season. City are without two of their biggest players. It's Chelsea's to open that gap up. Pressure of leading can be a bastard though. Look at Selby right now.

You guys look unstoppable at the minute, scoring goals, solid at the back.
I can't see a weakness.
