Its funny because its so easy for Blackpool. So easy. They haven't been lucky. Liverpool really are that bad and Blackpool really are that good. Blackpool haven't had it this easy since they played Wigan.
I really hope Blackpool don't cock this up. They deserve a famous win, but something tells me Liverpool will find a way to come back and win this game.
There is a lot of negativity on here atm, it was a light hearted reference to the fact that a lot of people (not me btw) don't seem to think it is a realistic goal that United will win the league whilst the way Liverpool are going at the moment relegation could be a potential concern, even though the odds are ridiculously slim it's something that was not even thinkable a few months ago. But, y'know, they're now losing to Blackpool at home, hahaha.
By 'take', I meant 'be reasonably content with', not 'agree 100% to some magic genie's demands'. For the former I'd 'take' finishing 3rd if Liverpool were relegated. For the latter I wouldn't, obviously.
And to think some of our fans are moaning about us lately, at least we're up there and abouts and I've no doubt we'll improve and turn these draws into wins.
Liverpool fans must be ready to do themselves in right now, this side is in serious danger.
Another side point, I remember being slated in pre-season for suggesting Blackpool would be a good place for Cleverly or Welbeck to go on loan. I'm happy enough with them playing at Wigan and Sunderland, but it could be an option in January or next season to send players like Eikrem or King. They play football in the right way and they don't have the budget to spend on big name signings of their own.
Who we all supporting in the Chelsea/Arse game? Don't think Arsenal will be there challenging come the end of the season so I'd like to see them win, draw wouldn't be a bad result either. Anything but a Chelsea win, really.
