Premier League fixtures - April 8th-10th

On this forum, he has some haters and tbf some admirers. There's very little balance when it comes to discussing him.
He would get a lot more universal praise if he was pathetically bad for almost an entire year.

what you typed there applies to every single team in the world lol.

i genuinely dont get your bitterness toward them

Bitter? There is no way I'm bitter towards them. But if you're expecting me (or any United fan) to enjoy watching a rival club win the title, then what is the point of even being a supporter?

They have been our biggest title rivals over the past 10-12 years, so naturally I don't want to see them win. Especially when they seem to win games without even playing well. Against City they got a deflected first goal, and a very lucky second goal, especially after the penalty was missed. Against Bournemouth their first goal was a deflection too.

Bournemouth are playing well and could well take points off them. Chelsea haven't shown any kind of penetration or ruthlessness in recent weeks and they seem to be limping over the finishing line.

Chelsea may be the apple of his eye but Liverpool get a fair dose of his commentary. Arsenal coming up the rear. How long before "Tottenham are a class and likeable club" gets ditched for "cheap feckers have bottlers in their DNA" when United and tottenham end up with a closer rivalry next year?

4141 chelsea:

TW: Chelsea arent on our level. We are better than them in every position on the pitch! . . . they will struggle for top 4. . . . . Looks like last year wasn't such a fluke afterall! . . . .

343 chelsea:

TW: Mourinho built the chelsea team, the are a title winning team. Conte has had everything handed to him!. . . . Conte relies on Courtois, Azpi, Hazard, Costa, Pedro. . . . He owns Mourinho a massive thank you if he wins the league . . . . . Except Costa is crap since January, can't pass and only gets lucky goals. The team can't play football but relies on hazard! . . . . . Conte is nothing like what people think . . . .

Oh and my personal favourite;

TW: Guardiola is past it. His team dominate and make chance after chance but cannot score. Pep is overrated. . . . .

Yeh  pot calling the kettle black there?

Come to think of it, I think he is Redcafe's version of Ty from AFTV!
Hes certainly trying to be remembered. Cafe folklore beckons. :D

:nono:

"Conte as a manager is several levels below the likes of benitez and in the same bracket as Neville and giggs."

I know this is off-topic, but Courtois' nose is ginormous. It's big bird level

World class freekick. I heard he can hit them but wowzers!

Just seen Firmino's goal. Very nice. One of ours would've 'controlled' it, took a heavy touch to the side, gone to the byline, turned round, found a pass, took a wild stab of a shot and hit the defender.

About Conte:
- United should have contacted Conte and let him be Jose's assistant. He has such an awful euro with Italy.

About Lukaku and Kevin Bruyne:
- I wonder how Chelsea fans feel as Chelsea let Lukaku, Kevin Bruyne, Ryan Bertrand go. Oh so lucky we got Jose who gave Rashford a chance
(fact: Jose was the man who sold Lukaku and KBN at Chelsea, Rashford was introduced to first team by Louis Van Gaal)

When Chelsea convincingly won a match:
- Oh it is so weird with this Chelsea side today. Marcos Alonso plays so high forward while he is supposed to be a defender. That's not normal.
(fact: Alonso has been playing like that for 6 months).

When Chelsea 12 points ahead United:
- 12 points is just a slim gap. Chelsea will be found out and United will mash them at Old Trafford.

And when the gap is 18 points:
- Chelsea is nothing special. They are such a defensive side, play so ugly to win. They will be found out next year in Europe.

to be continue ...
:D

 I had a very similar thought when I seen the goal earlier. = poor touch, turned back, slowed play down, and swung in a hopeless/aimless cross (if they managed to beat the first man).

Don't forget the best one of all-why haven't Manchester United's medical team eradicated illness???

This guy Alonso doesn't have a stellar CV, but he has been pretty decent this season. Not to mention he can really strike a ball. Under rated perhaps? Might be a useful signing for us, if Mourinho has doubts about Shaw. We could do with a new LB anyway, and a guy who can both defend and attack as well as score free kicks might just help to improve our depth in that position.

He was Chelsea's only non-Hazard player who really threatened Bournemouth today.

Also - we have lost fewer games and conceded fewer goals than Chelsea this season. If we had better finishing we would be in the top two for sure.

Their next game is at Old Trafford. We need to smash Sunderland, and then have a good game against Chelsea. A chance for revenge after the two defeats. Will be a massive game. Who is the ref?

Why would he sign for us?

So happy for Alonso with that goal. The guy has hit the bar twice with the same type of free-kick this season.

Edit: about the tittle, Chelsea has to win all home games left (Southampton, Middlesbrough, Watford, Sunderland) and try to manage to win 1 away game then the job is done. Should have won Crystal Palace at home. It was such a bad game :D

It's a pretty irrelevant game for us at this point, sandwiched between Europa league games. Fully expect us to rest key players.
