Premier League fixtures - April 8th-10th

Liverpool deserve top 4, we don't so it's not an issue for me.

What IS an issue is how we all obsess about 4th like Arsenal fans. I am gutted that we didn't even get near a title challenge. Feck 4th.

4th place is not the ideal but it would be a step up from where we have been placing lately.
For that reason I don't have a problem with seeing it as an achievable goal at this point of the season and something to aspire to this year.
I do agree that we should not see it as the height of our targets for upcoming seasons and would worry if we are still seeing it as an achievement in the next year or two.

Christ I'll delete my post if it bothers that many people.

My comment about needing Arsenal and United to drop points was me stating a simple truth. We're all in a race for top four places and rely on others dropping points as much as we do on our own sides to win.

I do usually post regardless of Liverpool winning or not.
There's really no need mate. I don't see what was wrong with what you said either.

It is a PL fixtures thread in a football forum. Don't see why anyone would have a problem with you cheering on your team :wenger:

I think at this point it's more about personnel, our recruitment has been poor, the squad has heavily stagnated and we let key players leave in the summer without replacement.

I'm still happy with Clement, and I'm happy for us to go down and him have a season to get things right, but the past few games he's not been anywhere near adventurous enough, especially substitutions wise

How's sigurdsson been? And where do you think he'll go if Swansea go down?

This is in the football forum not the United one, rival fans can talk rubbish in here if they like.

Don't worry about it. We should be worrying about our own shortcomings first.:)

@Klopper76 post was fine, I think everyone gets a little heated on matchday especially with how fine the margins are. Most of us come on here because this forum supersedes any other on the internet imo, Rawk by contrast is no place for anyone to have a reasonable rational discussion.

Last few games he's gone into hiding, bar one or two moments of quality. Can't really blame him as we've been set up conservatively and with Llorente missing he's been stuck feeding J Ayew who looks to be total crap.

I think he's good enough for Everton and the like, but any bigger/stronger club he'd be a bench warmer at best.

God forbid United supporters disliking Scousers on a United message board.

If posters don't want to interact with opposition fans then they probably shouldn't be on the caf at all given the amount of them it attracts. I'm sure there are other, duller forums where United fans can avoid scousers altogether if they dislike them that much.

You can use the ignore button. I've used that with a few Spurs fans and forget about them.

Or at least avoid the football forum.

Not sure where I said any of that. Merely pointed out that United supporters can voice their dislike for Scousers posting on here.

Watching the Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea matches today really does show how brutal we are infront of goal.

Is Hazard underrated?
No, but I was really surprised so many picked Griezmann over him. Hazard on form is everything for this Chelsea side and would be a game changer for almost any team in the world.

That goal reminded me of our 98-04 spell. No pissing around. Quick direct passing and a clinical finish.
