Premier League fixtures - April 8th-10th

Carbon copy of the Sevilla game yesterday

Martin Tyler is so desperately trying to hype up "The Premier League" at every opportunity.

What you're really trying to say is that nobody can defend.

They will need to defend better than this against Atletico or the tie will be over, not that I give them much chance.

To be fair, they've made quite a few chances today, most of which are not similar replacements.

Think they'll definitely tighten up against Athletico, but as you said, I don't expect them to go through anyway.

Watch the second half have zero goals now, I've seen it way too many times in these sort of games.

Hmm, a question. Should the Leicester player (Amartey?) who took Mirallas down before Davies' goal have been booked? The ref played advantage but that was a clear yellow, almost orange. Did he just forget to book him?

Bizarre if he forgot to do it tbh.

our defence is really terrible lately, but i guess that's to be expected with Coleman, Williams and Funes Mori out. 3/4 of the first choice defenders missing.

Yeah. Watching it live, it seemed like he wasn't going to give a free kick (which would be poor refereeing), and when Davies scored, he just tried to act smart and "wave play on". So it could be that he actually didn't think it was card-worthy, which it absolutely was imo. Anyway, not a big deal.

Yep, he probably ruled it to be just a foul, not card worthy.

The McManaman-ish hair doesn't probably help either, but Davies looks so funny with seemingly no shin pads and socks in training mode.

Everton simply have to sell Lukaku. You can't carry around an asset that can get you about 60-70m when that money can be applied to buying 2-3 top players.
