Premier League Gameweek 12

Someone else is going to get sent off in this game. Probably a Hull player. The ref (who looks about twelve years old, by the way, and just as clueless) has no idea what he's doing, and is rapidly losing control of the game.

Very good. Only behind Shaw in terms of best young left backs in the league at the moment, for a fraction of the price at that!
He's class. Been so impressed with him this year. A real wingback.
Very tidy player from what i've seen of him. Not really been watching this game mind
Had a look at one of the Hull City forums and he's getting a lot of positive comments on there. Not heard of him before this season!

Who is Ryan Mason? I can't remember ever hearing about him at any level of football. He's a Spurs academy graduate isn't he?

Very harsh. Not so much a kickout as using a tangle of legs to trip the other player. That's an incident where you should talk to the player and warn him about getting out of order, not send him off.

Poor Hull.

This referee looks like one of those types who becomes a referee for the false authority the position brings. We all know the types, the "you will respect my authority because I am the referee" cnuts.

Yes he's an academy player. Odd that he has been integrated into the team this season. He's 23 and has mainly been out on loan at lower league clubs.

Ref has given three Hull yellows in four minutes. He's gonna send another one off, and look like a smug prick when he does it too.

Damning shaw with faint praise there?
Nah, I'm glad we've got Shaw but we did overpay for him. That's a facht but he'll more than pay us back for that if he stays with us for 10+ years.

Robertson, on the other hand, is a bargain and for £3m would've been a steal. Luckily, only Hull got him but he'll move on for about 5-6 times that in a few years to a bigger team.

These incompetent refs are ruining football more than diving. Seriously I'd rather have a robot ref rather than twats like Clattenburg and Oliver consistently fecking up big moments in the matches.

How fecking lucky are Spurs? Red card decision against Villa and Red card decision again against Hull.

Basically they would be in relegation without the damn red cards lol.

No he won't. No full back is ever worth £27million unless they are super productive, and I'm talking Lahm level of productive.

What? It's not the full backs role to be super productive so how is that the only factor to justify such a fee? If you have a full back who fulfills his role, is world class and serves you for 13 years, such a fee is justified. And btw, in terms of assists, Dani Alves and Marcelo have more, lets not even mention Rodriguez. The role of backs are very underrated, backs have been the key to Barcelona's succes for example, offer more width, pace, pressure, attacking options, Bayern and Real the same at the moments, backs who overlap, offer all those things named above. The role of the backs has increased in the last couple years, so to devalue them like that is old times.

At least this time when we play Spurs, we're not guaranteed to get bummed down the left hand side by Lennon. Shaw will make sure of that.

If that's not a red for Livermore then this ref is a fecking joke.

Ref's had a shocker there. It's decisions like that, where you know the ref has seen it but has just bottled giving the red, that really wind supporters up.

Crazy that Ramirez got a red for virtually nothing and Livermore stays on after mauling Mason from behind there.

Yeah ref bottled it. Didnt want to give a second red even though this should have been the red (First I have a little sympathy as it was based on the linesmans word). Think the refs having a bit of a mare though.

Agreed.

Another one that springs to mind is Joe Hart squaring up to the ref in the derby and no action was taken. Shocking.

Already been covered. Hart didn't square up to him at all. Oliver turned his head into Hart who was admittedly close, and should have been booked for charging out of his goal, but that was it.
