What is most depressing about this City result is the fact we will probably struggle against Brighton and lose to Huddersfield when we play them.

The fact that he has consistently averaged 30 goals a year over the past 5 years. He has never started this quickly or had nearly as much quality around him. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets 40 provided he stays fit.

Though, I must say we needed a Cb too to improve our transition from the back and as mourinho plays defensive reactive against all possession based teams defensive solidity is always what he has relied on.

Not really, Young has great delivery.
He's had a few starts like this. I think it's around the middle of the season where he tends to lose steam.
His career best is 33, which is entirely beatable with the sort of quality he is surrounded with this year.

Time will tell what happens by the end of the year but if City win the league again by outscoring us by nearly 40 goals again then there won't be any more excuses left for Jose.

Lads calm down. Try enjoy the bloody season before it ends, city have an easy start we have to keep in touch and see how they do without De Bruyne come tougher games October November. They’re better than us now for sure, but it’s not unheard of for teams to grow into a season. We could be flying in January onwards for all we know
