Premier League Gameweek 20-21

I know some will blame Sessegnon for the first goal, but he basically showed Saka on his right foot. If he engages, Saka probably beats him and takes it on his left.
He made Saka shoot it at the keeper, via a deflection. and the keeper somehow fumbles it into the net.

Arsenal are very good, and with their age profile they should be a threat for a number of years if they can get the recruitment right.

Arsenal play with so much swagger and arrogance these days. Like we've gone back 20 years.

They are the best team in the league this season.
Agreed. Approach every game like this and always look like the better side. They’ve played better than City have.

You can show a player on a right or left foot while making sure you keep a certain distance close to him. Sessegnon gave him way too much space

Have to hand it to Arsenal they consistently make the other team look poor. Usually when a teams opponents are consistently called shite, its because that team are consistently making teams look like it.

Best team in the league by a mile so far this season. Honestly its all down to you guys to keep the title race alive cause if they beat United its done and will be deservedly so.

Seen some talk of United being linked with Kane. Would any of you want him? Despite his output he is starting to look like he’s struggling more physically to me. He’d cost a lot as well.

Yes he can easily play 3-4 seasons if not more. If the price is reasonable (50-60m) I’d rather we get Kane than spunk 120+ on a gamble. Even Lukaku was tearing it up in Italy.

I'm officially worried about going to the Emirates next week.

We won't make it as easy as Spurs are doing but hard for any team to live with Arsenal when they're playing like this.

As long as we can frustrate them for 60 mins, we can do it. They’ve got nothing on the bench that can change the game for them. A great XI but mediocre squad. It’ll be interesting to see if they’re still playing like this come March because Arteta is pretty much playing that XI (Jesus instead of Nkeitah) every league game until the end of the season if he can. Fatigue is going to build up and teams are going to read them and counteract sooner.

Missing out on Mudryk is a blow to them and if they can’t get an alternative in January, then they‘re all in on Martinelli being fit and not losing form.

That is surely all down on Lloris. I mean the shot is just going away from goal and he somehow parries it into the bottom corner.

But Hojberg and others were behind him. Sessegnon started well, but has become rattled and an issue while picking up a yellow. His positioning has become worse as the game has progressed.

Lloris was the main issue. All he had to do was stand strong and take it in the chest, the ball would bounce away.

Instead he flopped himself backwards and directed the ball into his own net.

Similar to DDG's mistake a few weeks ago. You couldn't imagine the likes of Cech/VDS/Schmeichel doing that.

Been the most one sided derby ever so far according to Jamie Redknapp.
I’ve been watching most Sky games on mute since the new year and it’s made the viewing experience so much more enjoyable. Don’t have to listen to Neville’s fawning either.

I think Son is finished. I feel Kane is on the decline too.
Spurs absolutely need to trick some club (hopefully United) to take Kane off them and get one or 2 quality players + promote Richarlison. He will be fully done by the end of next season.

You've still got to play them twice yet though.

And their record against City is embarrassing

unlimited budget Pep losing the league to his weirdo assistant and a couple of his unwanted reserve scrubs deserves major criticism

Spurs are in big trouble there. Kane probably leaving at some point in next 12 months and they've got Son on long term deal and he looks to have lost half a yard which is crucial for sort of player he is. Just 6 goals in 31 games this season.

I feel like they should just throw Richarlison on to liven things up but way it's going he'll probably get sent off after 5 minutes.

Think with Newcastle's emergence Spurs are just going back to 6th-8th level for next five years unless they sign some amazing young players.

Saka is what I expected Sancho to be

No reason why he can’t yet be. Ones grown up playing for a club his whole life and has broke in to a team with no real expectations on him/them. The other has a huge price tag on his head playing in a new league and clearly has issues away from football he is dealing with. If Sancho can rediscover his
Dortmund form then he’ll be a serious player for us.

The ball nicked off Sessengon and directed right to Lloris. His wrists were weak and just pushed it into the net. He wasn't strong or square at all.

Kind of feels like Man. City have been getting by on reputation for most of this season. I think you coming from 1 down to beat them yesterday will give more fuel to other teams so Man. City going to be dropping plenty more points in second half of the season.

Conte doesn't want to be at Spurs any longer and you can see they're massively demotivated.

Have you seen us this season, Brentford and Everton also had poor records against us. You guys next week are the only thing standing between them and breaking the duck. Spurs could well counter us out of the title race same weekend.

Yeah can easily see Arsenal beating them at Emirates. Could have done so last season as well

He should drop Son and start Richy. Sons best performance came after he was dropped and Richy is offering more for them this season when he's played.

Surely your lot can take some points off them?
