If Arsenal beat Spurs and we do the business next weekend it'll be 10 points above that horrible 5th place.
Oh the hypocrisy.Alright buddy. It’s quite clear that fans don’t know how to interpret the rules when you hear the pros talking about it. I tend to prefer the opinion of a professional than some arrogant bloke on the internet.
Yes, and he's full of shit. Because the laws of the game, as they are written, say that a player can be offside from a ball that's deliberately saved by an opponent. So he’s saying the same thing as the officials today and Gallagher?
You're wrong. Just admit it. It's OK happens to us all sometimes.

My point is that the "An ex-ref said so so he's right" argument is bollocks, and the proof is the hundreds of wrong calls that we see every season.
All 3 very good on their own, but maybe a bit selfish all of them?
I'm sure they would make it work somehow, if they can afford it.
Kane was in offside when Alli passed the ball, if it touched a Liverpool player on the way, doesn't matter.
So it should honestly have been offside. I always want decisions to go against pool, so i'm happy anyway![]()
Do you think Nani should have been sent off against Real Madrid? So the officials today, Gallagher and your mate there, all professional refs, or ex professional, at the top level of the game, don’t know how to interpret the rules but you and that arrogant bloke off the internet do?
To think Poch could hardly speak a word of English when he arrived in England, fair play to him!
If arsenal beat spurs.Wow.
Is Arsenal hosting Spurs or the other way round?
I hope Miki plays the best game of his entire career that day.![]()
So the officials today, Gallagher and your mate there, all professional refs, or ex professional, at the top level of the game, don’t know how to interpret the rules but you and that arrogant bloke off the internet do?
And you are clearly WRONG.CLearly a WUM

There is noway it was offised. Dunno where that pic has been pulled from above, but I have found the real one.

And you are clearly WRONG.
Just in case you are unsure. Should have been a FK to VvD for Lamela running into him !
But as for the linesman...The ref got both of the penalty decisions right.
Yeah, it's a bit weird. Suddenly the referees, who are routinely dismissed as terrible and having no clue, are unquestionable and infallible. If a referee says so, it must be so! Odd. We rarely see this attitude regarding them...Yeah, I bet you agree with all of the ex-players opinions too and shut your gob given you were not one yourself.
But wait, shouldn't it have been offside? How could it have been a free kick to vvd, if it was offside first? I'm confused...Just in case you are unsure. Should have been a FK to VvD for Lamela running into him !
Because VVD kicked him, probably. Just a guess. We've had run ins on here, but you're 100% right. Ridiculous that some on here are using a still image after Lamela jumped into him as some sort of proof of contact.
There is noway it was offised. Dunno where that pic has been pulled from above, but I have found the real one.

How some of you don't see that van dijk kicked lamela ?
He contorted his foot to avoid the player jumping into his foot (and making no attempt to get the ball). Don't get me wrong, I think it's bloody hilarious and I'm glad the scouse dropped points, but let's call it as it is.Because VVD kicked him, probably. Just a guess.
@Anustart89
Kane is standing still, he doesn't move towards the ball or make a ruh before the ball is played.
Problem solved.
VVD doesnt have the ball under control. Lamela gets in between and was goal side (away from it, but facing the goal). If Lamela controls it, he can either have a shot or cross it across. VVD kicks him. Lino gives a penalty.Oh come on. VVD had his eyes firmly on the ball, wanted to kick it, Lamela jumped right in front of him, VVD tried to pull back his kick, Lamla goes down like he has been hit with a sledge hammer. How was that a penalty? I have watched it again a few times.
His position and movement towards the goal could be construed as 'any gesture or movement which deceives or distracts player (B)' (emphasis mine). His offside position clearly forces the sliced clearance from Lovren..@Anustart89
