Premier League Gameweek 28 (24th February - 1st March 2018) | Arsenal vs Man City live at 19:45 GMT

Or when teams actually realise how to press properly and actually take the game to them. This isn't Barcelona from a few years ago when they were unbeatable, City have much more weaknesses especially when you have a go at their backline

Arsenal are pathetic
Judging from this season we are trhe last team capable of doing or 'realizing' that. Let's count on the rest of the league. It's so easy. Press a bit and wahey. You beat dem.

I went to a game on Tuesday that was dreadful, and freezing cold.
As tonight's conditions are much worse, and Arsenal's footy is way way worse, I can only imagine the ferocity of the rants to savour tomorrow!

Arsenal with a bit of luck could have scored. Feel a bit sorry for them.

"I will always back the manager"

Perfect example of how refs playing 'advantage' on City's niggling fouls gives City an advantage. Back-pass to last CB = advantage = allows City to pressure him into a mistake.

Are Arsenal playing that badly though? City have been annoyingly amazing.

They haven't been as noticeably awful as they were on Sunday but this is still fairly dire stuff from them. No real pressing, no urgency, no cohesive unity in their attacks compared to the dynamism on show from City, and they look exposed every time they're prompted to defend. It really depends on whether you class this as a bad performance or their natural level against a far better side.

Apart from Ramsey, everyone from Arsenal been rubbish.

Arsenal defenders are literally standing once City get into their final third.

It's like they're just giving up every time City comes near their box.

Why are people choosing a PL game night where we aren't even involved (we just had a great win at the weekend too), to turn a City win into shitting on us. Give it a rest ffs.

If Arsenal lose to Milan, what is the point of keeping Wenger?

What was the point of keeping him all those years until now?

Their board is not ruthless enough and they have set very low standards for the club. Just look at their celebration of securing fourth place. Almost threw an open bus parade.

I agree it's not really an excuse to a degree but they brought it up I believe because of the empty seats (if Arsenal were challenging the stadium would not be empty, regardless of weather) and general gulf in quality.
I think is is a mix of bad weather and City winning 3,4 days ago, while their team was absolute crap, so people are dissapointed, and it is middle of the week, so that might be another reason.

City have been brilliant but i'd be surprised if there was a worse possible way to approach a match versus City

Midfield two of Ramsey/Xhaka basically sums it up.

Turned it off. City are so brilliant, it's hard to watch :(

With Man City playing like this, I feel sorry for whatever team they have next.

feck.
They've just mentioned they haven't won their last three away games. And they just got dumped from the FA Cup by f… Wigan.

Everything's going as well as it is for City, as it is badly for Arsenal.

They need a whole new defence...

Arsene should have left when he had the last FA Cup win, it's sad he's going out like this.

Well Liverpool did it to effect. It was nothing flashy about the way they beat City that day, they worked so hard pressing City's backline that they ended up shitting themselves and Liverpool were exceptional on the day.

I actually hope we go full Wigan when we play these lot at the Etihad.

Some people on here have a real talent for managing to find a way to slag us off, even if we're not involved.

Arsenal seem so lightweight, all over the park. They have a decent attacking line-up on paper, but there is not one player from that starting 11 that I would have in our first 11 barring maybe Ozil.

Yeah of course, but it's the overall picture. If Arsenal were second/third and in touching distance of City or even top 4 the stadium would not be THIS bad

Arsenal is useless... 3 goals already, what the hell is wrong with this team?
