Premier League Gameweek 3

It’s a pen all day long. Remember pogba got a similar one given against Liverpool once. Dier doesn’t need to raise his arm head height and aim his fist upwards - that’s not natural at all.
I mean a defender should be jumping to header the ball, how does a defender jump without using their hands? And he's very close to Andy Carrol looking the other way for crying out loud.

Defending is finished if you think that should be penalty

Why is Dier playing volleyball in his own box? Hilarious.

They’ve changed the rule for VAR. It’s you not understanding I’m afraid.
How do you change a rule for VAR? That doesn’t even make sense. A rule is a rule. VAR let’s them see whether it broke the rule or not if they missed it initially.

GK too if u can't come an inch off your line. Game is broken

He used to be respectful towards United before, but since getting sacked he hates us just like he hates Chelsea since Conte took charge.
He used to make a big thing about not slagging his ex-teams off; I remember he did a press conference then he listed his ex-home grounds and said they were his house or some such bollocks, but he seems to have abandoned that philosophy in respect to us.

Seems Son is confirmed injured in the knee. Hope him a good recovery but honestly great news for us.

Go and jump and tell me if your arms go alongside your head? he literally jumps fine then in mid air he moves his arm for no reason apart from to block the ball.

Didn't hear the shock and horror when Lindelof got punished for it. It was ok because it was United.

Yeah, not to be tasteless but that'd be brilliant going into our fixture next week, especially considering we still look rusty.

They can't revert a rule after the season starts so you're all just going to have to live with it.

Imagine they change it tonight and then tomorrow Van Dijk sticks an arm out and it's not given as they've reverted the rule. Every club who has already suffered a decision now loses their shit over it.

The problem being you need to put your arms up and out to balance yourself in the air. Especially if you get a little shove, as in Dier's case, or are jostled in competing for the ball.

It's all well and good to laugh at Spurs, because, hey, it's Spurs, but this rubbish will 100% happen to us at some point. I can just see it and it will be an absolutely scandalous decision that will ruin my fecking day, and this forum will go into meltdown mode.

Mate, see the reply again he moves his arm yes, but the ball hits the top arm which isn't moved, that part of the arm is in a natural position.

Just look at the reply. That is NOT intentional.

Already happened. Lindelof vs Palace

I’ve looked at the video plenty of times myself and he doesn’t just put his arm out he points his arm upwards with his first pointing up. It’s out of control and unnatural. That gets given as a pen last year IMO

Only a couple of games into the season and I'm already hoping for City wins. No one else is challenging Liverpool so needs must.

How do you think? There was complaints last season when handballs were being given by VAR so they amended the rules to make VAR decisions more consistent. It’s so simple it shouldn’t require explanation.
