Premier League Gameweek 30+31

Wonder if anyone will have a go at Henderson for not saving that, because if de Gea had done that...
De Gea wouldn’t get the blame there, the centre back dropping him in the shit would.

Henderson is within his right to expect his centre half to deal with a ball slowly rolling along the floor towards him. He didn’t get across quick enough because he didn’t expect him to balls up the clearance. The worst you could say about Henderson is that he didn’t expect the unexpected.

You mean like de Gea was spared because Maguire let Bergwijn through like he was Moses parting the Red Sea?

I have regularly said that Traore isn’t good enough beyond being an excellent dribbler.

I just don’t think he’s Daniel James unlike you.

I never said he would make us into a title challenger you also know this. But rather than admit you’re wrong you resort to deliberately misreporting what I said.

What do I need to admit wrong? Oh I get it, everyone has to admit they are wrong if you disagree with them. Can you not learn how to move on?

Literally the other poster just explained it to you about Traore and the poster even give hints about the best way to get the best out of him and if you go to every single James thread, they said the same thing about the best way how to play James rather than start him on the RW week in week out, yet you still don't get it or rather you just can't accept the fact.

Players done it doesn't mean you can ignore players weakness. I can also give you clips of James knocked & dribble multiple players.

I said Traore is better at RW than our current options which would improve the team.

I didn’t say he’d make us title challengers.

Okay mate.

Surely Adama Traore would be a big upgrade on our current RW options and push us closer to a title challenge.

Champions League is a whole different matter but I don’t see how Sancho would be the missing piece for that either.

Time for Grealish to audition for United this afternoon. Couple of cheeky goals and assists against Chelsea and it could be on.

De Gea had much longer to react to Maguire getting done. He had time to set himself, position himself, and face the shot. De Gea’s error was independent of Maguire’s.

Ah come off it.

Maguire loses Bergwyn 20 odd metres from the goal - this one happened 4 or 5 feet from the goal.

Poor SU, would have love if they could have pushed for the European spots but Covid really did feck with any kind of momentum they had.

He had more than enough time to prepare for the shot, but for some reason tried to use his legs like De Gea. A top keeper would have kept it out.

Yeah, that was pretty wank from Henderson.

Do you think so? He goes with his wrong foot but you can see why. He's had to make ground across 2/3rds of the goal to get to it.

Think it's harsh to criticise him. That said DDG saves it. He's the master at that.

I wouldn’t class half a second as “more than enough time”. He’s scrambling to get across to his near post. If he’d had time to set himself he probably wouldn’t need to desperately throw a leg at it.

St. James Park looks really like Croke Park when there's nobody in it. I wonder were they built by the same crowd back in the day?

The commentator on Sky has breathing problems.

Disgusting trying to watch a game with him doing his best/worst Darth Vader impression.

Just seen the replay, really poor from Henderson to go with his right foot just stick the left leg out and he saves that..

Thats the thing though. Being goalkeeper for Man United means every little thing is under microscopic scrutiny. De Gea for 4 years was the best around and expected the unexpected and kept out unsavable shots.

Defender puts him in the shit for sure but as you saw, trying to kick it clear with his wrong foot was bad.

And now he's just been beaten at his near post.

I'm a Henderson fan but not a good game today.

I'll still take 0-0 draw to be honest. Don't expect too much with Aston Villa.

Great striker from Matt Ritchie, always been an underrated player for me going back to his Bournemouth days.

Ok that one was poor by Henderson

Henderson should have done better there too. Not saying he'd necessarily save it, but there was zero coverage of his near post.

Looks a good time to be playing these on Wednesday...
I'm not watching but they already sound fatigued. They'll be even more tired against us, and we'll probably be quite fresh considering our last game would've been Spurs. Bruno and Pogba to hopefully finish them off.
