Premier League matchweek 36 (may 5th-may 10th)

Kenny Daglish - "Won 8 league titles with Liverpool as player and manager"

Jog the feck on, he won feck all as manager you Sky bastards.
Are you joking, or did you forget about Kenny Dalglish's managerial spell with Liverpool in the 80's/early 90's?

Feel a bit for Origi. This system just doesnt play to his strengths at all, complete contrast to last year.

He won 3 league titles and 2 fa cups as our manager ffs

Klopp just threw a water bottle. That's a ban for Mourinho coming up.

What on earth is going on with Anfield crowd, they all clap at good defensive play from Liverpool and then all stop in same time. At some point i tho its a tennis match.

Was that Klopp's son on the bench behind him

Klopp

Klopp looks like that homeless psycho who chases after you because you didn't give him your change.

Liverpool will do absolutely nothing in the CL next season. They're no where close to being good enough.

Just switched over from the Forest game and thought they were playing in an empty stadium. Anfield sounds dead. Has it been a dull game?

They are dreadful these days, atmosphere apart from big big games has been nauseatingly awful for a while now.

Amazong to think the blue seats at the Emptyhad had a better atmosphere yesterday

So Klopp can get away with that kind of dissent towards refs decisions as easy as that? Just because he smiles a lot he gets away with it. Pfffftttttt.

Back on topic: Southampton are starting to settle in possession now, and the game's going just the way they want it. They've been well-organised at the back, and they've left the chance creation to the less-skilled footballers. Liverpool have been unsurprisingly static today. They're always like that when they face a team that's asking them to attack. Liverpool initially tried to play their natural game with the long balls forward and their challenges for the second balls, but Southampton dealt with them well, so now they're trying to play a more possession-based game without the fluidity.

Liverpool will need Coutinho's brilliance here if they are are to get 3 points.

The referee is trying to slow this game down more than Southampton are.

Creating a sense of injustice works well for Klopp doesn't it. Prixk.

Agreed. Also think their league season will be much like this one. Start well and be near the top until about midway and then fall away because they won't have the same quality as the other big sides.
