Premier League Week 25 - 6th-7th Febuary

Wasn't that two footed from Flamini? Surely a straight red?

Flamini booked. Could have been a red with a different referee.. Not that bad imo. Yellow is fine

Sometimes watching arsenals possession based football with no end product reminds me of another team.

Red card offence. Doesnt matter if he won it, both feet off the ground studs showing.

Ref bottled it early on imo

do think Arsenal can still win the Lge but this (and next week) are a pivotal 6pts for them. If they lose to Leics next week, I think they're done for.

frenzied atmosphere at a big ground he may go off yes - under the reckless/endangering rule

Sunday lunchtime at Bournemouth, not so much probably

What if they lose today and beat Leicester? That would be just like Arsenal come to think of it.

Is there any rule that says that? I always thought it was simplifying things. Two footed might indicate a tackle was reckless or dangerous. It doesnt always have to be. The referee makes that call.

I'd agree. This is what is says in Rule Book.

• serious foul play
• violent conduct
• spitting at an opponent or any other person
• denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goalscoring opportunity
by deliberately handling the ball (this does not apply to a goalkeeper within
his own penalty area)
• denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity to an opponent moving
towards the player’s goal by an offence punishable by a free kick or a
penalty kick
• using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures
• receiving a second caution in the same match

It's always a Red, which is harsh tbh as there was nothing really dangerous about the tackle itself but it could have and probably should have been a red.

2-0 The Ox. It's looking like the top four is going to be as it is now.
