Well done Voldemort.
Has to be stupidest player on planet for that.Shelvey off.
Are you serious? On the one hand you say you don't care about winning and just want to see good football. On the other hand you want dangerous tackles not to be penalized and if skillful players are injured, so be it. What kind of good football will that produce? We are protecting the attacking players too much. Offside is in their favour and you can't touch a dribbler without being penalised. There has to be some logic involved. There will be contact during a challenge. It's not a completely non contact sport. If he dies, he dies.
He is. Right in front of the ref. Nothing subtle about it at all.Has to be stupidest player on planet for that.
I don't get why you are trying to romantizice this. It's a tackle where the chance of winning the ball fairly is quite low and the risk of an injury to the opponent is high. There's nothing nostalgic nor beautiful about this.
You're trying to trivialize it by saying "you can't touch the opponent" and "non-contact sport" etc. when this is a completely different situation and something neither of us have said in response to you. Also this was an attacker injuring a defender.
There's a reason studs-up tackles, tackles with excessive force (ie. opponent flying in at high speed) and scissor-tackles are not allowed and it's not because they're trying to ruin the game or something like that which is what you're implying.
Some, including you, clearly need to lose that "but ... but ... he got the ball" attitude as it doesn't really matter, both from the rule book and a logical point of view.
On what planet is a deliberate stamp a yellow card offense?Red? At worst that's a yellow. And Alli has been a pest all game.
He deliberately stood on his ankle. It was no accident.Red? At worst that's a yellow. And Alli has been a pest all game.

He deliberately stood on his ankle. It was no accident.
It was deliberate. Was it deliberate? He's looking at the ball. I dunno, if it was a 'stamp', it was the lamest one ever.
He was trying to be subtle to avoid the card. Was it deliberate? He's looking at the ball. I dunno, if it was a 'stamp', it was the lamest one ever.
