Are you serious? On the one hand you say you don't care about winning and just want to see good football. On the other hand you want dangerous tackles not to be penalized and if skillful players are injured, so be it. What kind of good football will that produce?

He's a moron but it wasn't forceful at all. Deserved a red purely for being a cnut but I'd probably have given a yellow otherwise.

You're trying to trivialize it by saying "you can't touch the opponent" and "non-contact sport" etc. when this is a completely different situation and something neither of us have said in response to you. Also this was an attacker injuring a defender.

There's a reason studs-up tackles, tackles with excessive force (ie. opponent flying in at high speed) and scissor-tackles are not allowed and it's not because they're trying to ruin the game or something like that which is what you're implying.

Some, including you, clearly need to lose that "but ... but ... he got the ball" attitude as it doesn't really matter, both from the rule book and a logical point of view.

Ever since that mouthing off at Fergie he's made it well clear to everybody that he's got short fuse and is an absolute idiot. Now scousers would defend this moron when he was their player but mind boggles why anybody else would take this shit somewhere beyond Championship.
