Premier League weekend fixtures 11/12/13 August

Are you serious? On the one hand you say you don't care about winning and just want to see good football. On the other hand you want dangerous tackles not to be penalized and if skillful players are injured, so be it. What kind of good football will that produce?

Define "good football"?

Good football is subjective. A 0-0 masterclass with Messi being dispossessed for fun might be considered "good football" to some.

All I'm saying is that Kane went for the ball and got it, then caught the player with his second leg after playing the ball.

Some morons here trying to say that's not a red card. Standing on someone's ankle is a fecking red and always should be. Either intentional or not (stop being so clumsy if it's not intentional).

It's disgraceful and I hope the FA take more serious actions on things like that. It's just unnecessary.

Red card all day long.... and it was clearly intentional

Ritchie and Kane yellows costing me valuable FPL points, the scoundrels.

I actually quite like that.

I would fine Shelvey a couple of months worth of salary if I were in charge of Newcastle. So incredibly stupid.

If so it's beyond stupid.

The ref was about five foot away though.

It was definitely on purpose, it wasn't a natural movement of the leg, if he was just walking he'd have stepped further in front than that.

Shelvey being a dumb-ass and Alli being a little bitch as always. I do not understand people that wants to be "tough" on the pitch when the stakes are so high, this isn't the 5th division on a Tuesday. Same with players that go head to head after a tackle or incident, what point are they trying to prove? Morons. Alli deserves a bit of stick, he is a total wuss but acts like something he isn't because he is on a football pitch and no-one can take him down. Well, unless they want a red card obviously :)

Bit weak from the referee as well. He sees a situation starting to happen, Alli is holding and then kicking the ball away, if he had interfered earlier it would have been a free-kick and then a competitive game afterwards. Alli should have gotten a yellow card, he stops Newcastle from taking the free-kick and instigated the situation.

Was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he is such a cnut. Most stamps are done in anger, that was just plain weird.
