Rooney seemed disinterested the whole of the half, refusing to chase after the ball & just going thru the motions in terms of passing - & in danger of becoming a one-trick pony - ever so often when he got the ball, he'd try to flick it over the defender's head - most defenders have become wise to this although he doesn't seem to have realised it & keep trying to pull it off time & again.

Let's see how the 2nd half turns out...

Our midfield is really a problem. The only position, where we have not a quality player, not even a young, promising player we could use. We have excellent defenders and strikers, but nothing for central midfield!
