Sky Sports called my bluff
I've never known anyone take as many words to say nothing like David Davis does. It is truly a spectacle to behold.
Standard politician question dodging.

Harsh on hell. This is actual hell.
True, can at least play Fifa with Plato in hell.Harsh on hell.
I don't know how they've managed to pinpoint what he's actually said. He's made noises that appear to coincide with him moving his lips, but I certainly question the idea of it having any sense of a point.Reading a summary live on the Guardian site, if Davis is saying what they say he's saying - is he insane?

UKIP rowing back on immigration is ridiculous

I presume for Suzanne Evans this poster meant: "the priority being given to EU immigrants is unfair and we should let in these non-EU refugees"
David Chuckle said:Before we joined, our share of the European market was pathetic, at about 4%. After we joined, over about a decade and a half, it doubled, to 8%. That was the Common Market period.
But since then, during the Single Market period, it has halved again to less than the 4% we started with.
After 40 years in Europe we are no better off than when we started.
All that will matter to most people is what the final outcome will look like, which we won't know until further down the line in the negotiations.
That's because 'most people' don't know a damn thing about politics. If they did they'd know that the last year was the time most vital to determining how the government negotiate on Brexit, and even today there's still a small amount of time left. Just sitting back and hoping it all works out for the best is utterly irresponsible and a complete dereliction of responsibility. In other words, exactly the kind of childish approach to politics from the British public that got us into this mess in the first place.
That's just an ignorant statement to make. If you want people to engage and indeed vote, then it's the job of the politicians to make it understandable for all. Some will have a greater capacity for knowledge than others, being able to communicate the very things you want the public to have a opinion on is a key responsibility. If the politicians don't have a clue, how can you expect the general public to have one?

Ah, the old 'that's ignorant!' line. Because taking responsibility for your own vote and your own country is too hard and might involve some effort, so feck it just blame the politicians for not holding your hand and spoonfeeding you what you need to know right?
Of course they did exactly that back in June, but millions of dumb fecks decided they knew better. But hey, still not their fault eh, it must have been those terrible politicians not selling their case well enough.
Because it can never just be the fault of the voters right.
The famous saying goes 'Every nation gets the government it deserves'. I think that's probably true.
He's the human form of a 3-2-1 clue, there is no point in trying to apply logic to him.If anyone did manage to understand what Davis said - he supposedly said the following
Davis says the British people voted to leave the EU. That means leaving the single market. You cannot be half in and half out.
He says the UK government is trying to get a deal that will allow the UK to sell into the single market.
If this is the case - after 9 months it's still the "Cake and Eat It Deal" I presume
Who says individuals didn't take responsibility for their own vote? Ah, maybe we should all act like you and have a little temper tantrum and call everyone idiots, just because they didn't vote the way you wanted... how very grown up. And you talk about people being childish, have you looked in a mirror lately?
No doubt you'll feel enraged that I don't fully agree with you and start simmering with aggression, furiously tapping away on your little keyboard, like everyone of those letters has offended you in some way and damaged your precious little ego.
You carry on pal, because I'm not interested in your irrational bullshit.
You might need an eye testI noticed 2 things from last night's debate:
1. How similar Dimbleby & Davis look.
2. How similar Sir Keir Starmer and Greg Davies look. Greg Davies in character is almost a comedy caricature of Starmer actually.
I'm just sick of people fecking things up for the rest of us, because they can't be arsed to bother learning how things actually work in real life. Sorry if that hurts your feelings, I'm sure you'll find someone to blame when everything goes to shite in a couple of years though.
How do you know for certain what the outcome will be, do you have a crystal ball or a time machine that's allowed you a glimpse into the future? Or is it simply your narrow minded outlook that it will all end in disaster, just so you can say "ooh look see I told you it would all turn to shite" that's driving your doom and gloom tirade of drivel?
Van Gaal at OT.I've no idea what a zero sum game is.
