It's actually fascinating to watch, in a very cringe-worthy way. There truly are parallels with a cult.
I'm sure the vast majority of them would be relatively sensible if they posted on a more normal forum. And I'm sure RAWK once was fairly normal. But over time they've slowly gotten more ridiculous, people (both established posters and newbies) continue with that trend to fit in, and it basically becomes a whole brain-washing thing for the lot of them with no-one actively in control.
