We're nearing the top of the cycle.

Don't forget Everton too.

One of them has worked out their points tally over the season if Dalglish had been in charge (based on their results since he took over). 82.33 points, which, you've guessed it, would've won the league.

Looks like they got to 19 before us :(

No point wondering about the league. It annoys me though, that we would very likely have made 4th if we had sacked the lesbian old owl sooner than we did.

How? His league stat is W8 D3 L3, which translates to 73.

"I could slightly understand this if there was any logical reason for the BBC to make this programme.
I remember all the sadness and and sympathy after the crash being a young lad at the time.
But utd have been dining out on the sympathy vote media-wise for far too long now and, to me, this only shows that it's set to continue. Why else did they get away with winning feck all for 26 years with Doherty's 2nd division side being compared to the Busby babes?
"

fecking cnut.

wow, you'd think if any club's fans would understand tragedy it would be Liverpool.
"Dining out on sympathy.." what the actual feck.

That's an individual so destroyed by bitterness he's more to be pitied than scorned. If you want to see the very pits of despair, look no further than --

"Why else did they get away with winning feck all for 26 years with Doherty's 2nd division side being compared to the Busby babes?"

Some silly off-the-cuff remark in the press has been eating away at this poor wreck for all these years. Just imagine.

Ehmm... this is hypocrisy to a new level, i wouldn't want to bring the you know what but surely, this coming from a Liverpool fan is pot kettle black

It's absolutely written in stone that Kenny has come along and will bring us full circle blowing Ferguson right out of the water, like James Bond giving the villain a very bitter and painful end. We're going to spend the next few years rejoicing and pissing ourselves laughing. I can't wait!!!

Why? Why do they do it to themselves every year?

I think it's simple. If and when the King is appointed I'd expect us to win the league next year. We've proven we're more than a match for both mancs, beating the renters and an injury hit team got a draw at Arsenal. We're now beating the canon fodder. One or two good signings, a bit of width and we'll win it.

Can't see past us really.

Damn :(

They won't win it next season, or come close to winning it, but they'll put up a right good fight for 4th. It's going to be interesting how Spurs react, and if Arsenal don't sort their shit out I think they could be making way for one of Spurs/Liverpool. I can maybe see City struggling ala Spurs this season with balancing CL and prem, despite greater squad depth.

As usual they perform well when there is no pressure on them and the next season bs starts doing the rounds. Every fecking year.

For Liverpool to overtake Arsenal they have to win their four remaining games while Arsenal lose all theirs, then they might surpass them by goal difference. Slightly unlikely to happen, that. Spurs are nine points behind Arsenal with a game in hand and a 23 goals inferior goal difference. Only City can threaten Arsenal, five points behind and a game in hand, and of course only two or three points behind and a game in hand after the coming weekend.

Sorry I meant next season!

"Who gives a shit? Past this season, they'll win feck all as we're in the ascendancy and whiskey nose knows it. He's bricking it at the thought of us being a force again and we're the only team to have given them a ride this season. Let them have their last bit of glory, it'll hurt them more when they think they have their noses in front only to have it all snatched away from them again. Shithouse team and shithouse fans. feck the lot of them."

To be fair this was from a thread where lots of posters argue that we do have a very good side and are not as 'shit' or 'average' as they would like to believe.

For a man who's on the brink of making history in the English league, plus on the brink of yet another European final, yep he sure seems like he's past it

Bitterness and jealousy is a truly terrible thing. How exactly have they give us a ride this season? In what way possible? We've faced them 3 times, and beat them 2 of those times. They beat us at Anfield, which isn't surprising as we've been a bit shit there recently. But they've done well against the top sides at Anfield this season, so no surprise.

That thread is too pathetic for words ("The whole game is set up for the huge mega clubs to get into the semis and final year after year. It's utterly sickening to see the game ruined by corruption" is but one example of the idiocy hidden in its depths), but for once I have to truly respect a RAWK mod --

This thread as been fecking pathetic tonight. People expecting other clubs to protect our record is small time. Until we are good enough to actually do something about it ourselves then United winning a European Cup and a league every year is none of our fecking business.

Some people need to man the feck up or feck the feck off.

Alan_F -- you deserve your tagline - 'The Cat Herding Firm But Fair Voice Of Reason' :D

Yet all the average United teams have finished ahead of them the past 20 years, guess that's just a coincidence:wenger:

I fecking wish we were playing these c*nts over two legs, we are literally the only team that has consistantly shown balls and bottle against this shower of c*nts and very often played the feckers of the park and made them look as average as the person in the op suggests they are.

Yeah. Because its your cup final. And we still beat you twice.
