As though their dominance in the Premier league wasn't bad enough, now they've got their act together in Europe as well. 3 finals in 4 years! feck me. Why don't we just hand over all our fecking records to them all at once!!!

He he, they really are shitting themselves about the prospect!

Guess which direction they've taken?

plot for a grave?

This thread is a total LOL a minute

KNOW WHAT THE ANNOYING THING IS

Also several comments about how Kenny will make sure that they beat us next year. As if by magic Fergie will crumble at the thought of facing Dalglish.

That last quote about them finding us out all the time

They beat us last month at Anfield, we beat them the previous three times we met. But it seems now everytime we face them, they can't accept we're better. There's always excuses of they matched us well, but just got unlucky, or that SAF paid the ref off again.

The sooner they accept we're better, the easier it'll be for them. Seriously they should just put themselves out their misery right now.

"I could slightly understand this if there was any logical reason for the BBC to make this programme.
I remember all the sadness and and sympathy after the crash being a young lad at the time.
But utd have been dining out on the sympathy vote media-wise for far too long now and, to me, this only shows that it's set to continue. Why else did they get away with winning feck all for 26 years with Doherty's 2nd division side being compared to the Busby babes?
"

fecking cnut.

This is just embarrassing for the average Liverpool supporter.

He wouldn't mate because he wouldn't be part of the MU institution that benefits from so much luck and advantage.
He luckily stumbled across a bunch of kids that set him up for life and made some class signings from his many ventures in the transfer market. But proportionally maybe not as many class signings as Rafa in his short term.

Heh.

Some of them were suggesting Mourinho would get sacked and replaced by Benitez if his lost the Super-Classicos.

Sometimes I forget how deluded they are.

But then I look in this thread and it all comes back to me...

"But proportionally maybe not as many class signings as Rafa in his short term."
 x 10.000
Some nights the universe keeps on giving...

(And 'he wouldn't be part of the MU institution that benefits from so much luck and advantage' -- 'he' is Benitez, isn't it? Please say it is.)

Thankfully it took a long time beore Rafa showed him how to do it or United would be on six or seven European Cups by now.

After 2005 I saw a lot of Rafa tactics used by united in europe. best thing we ever did for them was winning it in 2005. hopefully as a club we will get our arses in gear after this year.

That's right folks Rafa taught Fergie how to succeed.

Thanks St. Rafa. What a great manager. Not only did he ruin Liverpool he taught us how to win.

feckin hell.

Thatl be Rafa's Inter who lost 3 nil to Werder bremen. Who sit 11th, a place lower then Schalke in the Bundesliga?

one of them showed sense to be followed by...
And? Did Jose's Inter top their group last year?

Don't forget, we lost 1-0 to Olympiakos on the way to Istanbul.

I think those two posts are the most deluded I've ever read on RAWK. I've read some heavily deluded shit on there, but that just takes the biscuit. The idea that fecking Rafa can take the plaudits for the success of another team - Ferguson's team, of them all - is fecking hilarious. He's now so good he can win European Cups without even being employed by a football club. Take that Inter!

If you can credit any manager for changing Ferguson's european tactics it's Mourinho. But even that is a minor credit.

feckin hell.
 As a proud KRAPer I bow down to St.Rafa.

Best contradiction within one paragraph -- "Wolves beat them, half the prem has drawn against them. Trouble is everyone goes out there with a shit attitude towards them like Chelsea in the quarters. If you stand by like most teams do and dont even compete of course theyll beat you."

Best insane bitterness -- "But you know what mate? When we got to the final and won it the competition was still strong. One of the last few seasons it was strong and it was terrifying to be drawn against Juventus, Leverkusen, Chelsea or Milan. Tough tough games. It was still a Premier comp then and teh sides in it were mostly the cream of Europe."

Both awards go to walshys_mullet. The bolding is mine. Cheers for the laughs! :D

Scouse delusion is amongst the funniest phenomenons of modern life. I love how, year after year, it's their year, regardless of their ineptitude. I also love how they genuinely believe Benitez was a great manager, who was good in the transfer market.

Scousers think people laugh as a result of their great sense of humour, but in fact people laugh because they're SO feckING STUPID!

They are comical.

No matter who goes through out of Barca or Real, Utd's defence will be tore a new one.
I do not even believe that any football fan cannot see that Rio and Vidic as a partnership with VDS behind them is the best in the world, by quite a margin. Our fullbacks are the problem.

Fergie built his team to first conquer the English League. He realised from the many outings in Europe what he needed. Like any great manager, he learned from his failures.

Now we are almost regulars.

Fergie as early as 2001 had started changing our approach in Europe with the purchase of Veron and a switch to a 4-5-1. Really we should've gotten to the final that season and but for a pretty shaky defense we probably would have.

A transition period set in with the likes of Beckham and Keane coming to an end and the need to completely build a back 4 meaning we didn't really see the fruits of that switch till 2006/07.

I love the standard RAWK-type post; grandiose, overblown, maudlin...mad:

I know I'm p*ssed but...

In 1919, the great poet and mystic WB Yeats wrote these memorable lines:

'You can't get quicker than a Kwik-Fit fitter.'

Aw bollocks, I've copied n' pasted my job app. Anywayz, it stands to reason that Yeats used his crystal balls to foresee the return of King Kev...no, Pope Rafa...no wait - King Kenny. Anywayz, after doin' some more magic stuff, Yeats wrote:

'Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world'

Which is a bit like us lot under those Yankee basts. So remember, fellow Reds: 'ang on - the Provy woman's at the door...

I don't want to jinx it, but yes, the possibility of 3 finals in 4 years is phenomenal. It should have been 4 in 4!

certainly dont want to jinx it. We still have a match to play and all...Fergie wont take that for granted.

I meant we seem to be there or thereabouts pretty regular now.

our players are seasoned. Just to watch Giggs score that goal...and Rooney..what a player we have.

the two of them scoring and making the goals for each other.

sheer poetry.

I love the standard RAWK-type post; grandiose, overblown, maudlin...mad:
Chris Morris' got nothing on RAWK (unless RAWK is a Chris Morris project, which I sometimes suspect) --

The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity
.

Yes, *knock on wood* as I'm reading your post, Weaste -- but whatever might happen and however I dread the hubris: Tonight is a beautiful night, and the Scousers just keep on giving  --

It makes them all average!
We are average at the moment. Chelsea have struggled for half the season with poor attitude. Arsenal? Well you only need to have watched them the last few weeks to know what their mentality is like. Spurs are an average flash in the pan side, Bayern are off the radar, Schalke you saw how good they were tonight, Inter were knocked out by Schalke by SEVEN GOALS TO FOUR(!) and Milan might as well be in a retirement home.

awful, awful, awful.

On merit?!

UEFA was desperate to get a Man Utd / Barca or Real final.

Is it any coinicdence they all got such easy last 16 and q final draws?

dear oh dear
