RAWK Goes into Meltdown 2014/2015 - The "We go again" Edition

Think anyone questioning Sterling's intelligence needs to watch him more clearly. He's not going to ever rival Xavi for intelligence but his decision making last season was one of his best qualities.

His movement is very, very good for his age and his pass selection is improving rapidly. Running down blind alleys can still be a problem at times but if you think he's just another brainless winger you haven't seen how effective he's been as a number 10.

I think you might have missed the part where I said 'football brain'?

In any case, my post was following on from the poster who said Sterling has no football brain, then cited Nani as an example. Hence my claim that I think his football brain is already superior to Nani. I wasn't making any predictions, unless you count the insinuation that Nani's football brain is unlikely to improve from this point on, which is fair enough, but it's not exactly a stretch to claim that.

Have to admit, thought Sterling was going to be the next Aaron Lennon however after watching him last season, during the World Cup and so far in pre season he has really impressed me and safe to say he has definitely changed my opinion about him.
 
So we here change our opinion we had a few months ago that Janujaz was a better prospect?

Let's be honest, Anyone with hair like that and a habit for wearing makeup is going to be far happier with those southern pansies than up north, for once I'm actually being nice about Liverpool as a place, but don't get used to it.

Despite playing two games in a few days, he says :-

Can somebody tell me how RAWK have been handling the very likely injury and/or burn-out of young talent Luke Shaw in comparison to the ever glowing, bright and injury free future of young talent Raheem Sterling? Some snippets would be great...
 
I'd compare Sterling's record to a young Ronaldo. It stands up.​

Liverpool had some young winger then whom they rated highly than Ronaldo and made fun of Ronaldo. DOn't even remember his name, which kinda sums up.

Regarding Babel and Ronaldo...

care to elaborate what has ronaldo got that babel hasnt?

speed-ronaldo is quick but babel is quicker
flair-babel isnt a one trick pony watch him play you'll see him do some breathtaking pieces of skill.
dribbling-granted ronaldos quicker while dribbling but i reckon babel is just as effective.
goal scoring-babel has scored goals whenever rafa has deployed him up front where ronaldo plays for manure.
heading- babel is alot and mean alot better in the air

these are the reasons i believe he can develop into a better player than ronaldo because pennant isnt going to

Pennant was another one who was going to be better than Ronaldo as well.

To be fair, before he went to Liverpool Babel was an amazing player I was gutted when he signed for them.

Either Rafa ruined him or he just didn't reach his potential

He was never ever going to be better than Ronaldo, especially in 2008 that's madness :lol:
 
I'm all in favour of laughing at RAWK, but that guy was a WUM and nobody in the thread agreed with him.

Not much of a claim, though. Nani has a relatively poor football brain.

I predict he'll be gone towards the latter end of his current contract. City or Chelsea.
 
I actually prefer RAWK to Bluemoon. Rawk, you feel, is like a home for the mentally ill - there is delusion, but it is ultimately harmless.

Bluemoon on the other hand is more like a high security prison, where everyone is a vile, aggressive twunt (who also happen to be delusional).

I have a mate who's a City supporter, and quelle surprise, he's only got back into football the past three years (he used to be a "season ticket holder at Maine Road" though, just so you know). He frequents Bluemoon and he posts these ridiculous transfer rumours on Twitter he gets from there (Messi is signing every summer since 2011, and Guardiola has already agreed to become their next manager in 2016), not to mention he now calls United "The Rags" and regularly drops it into conversation with me, despite him never using the term in all the previous years I've known him.

RAWK is a special case ineed, but they have a lovable side to them; Bluemoon is a vile place and I wonder how people can become so embittered.

Good grief. Ronaldo had pretty much established himself as being within at least the top 5 players on the planet by the end of the 2006/07 season.
