I've been reading the reports of the ridiculous flights Liverpool fans are having to take, with several changes in different countries. Why isn't this final being held in (say) Germany or France? Does the venue have to be set in stone so early on?
And the unfortunate ones whose flights have been completely cancelled - it's awful.

Agreed, can't see any other outcome with Madrid trying to go toe to toe with their attack. Little does any team in Europe seem to know, it's quite easy to nullify them by getting men behind the ball and closing the space in behind. But no one respects Liverpool enough to deploy those tactics.

The BBC will never play against Liverpool. The game vs Barcelona was the first time in almost abyear that the BBC started a game and they didn't developed well. Vs Liverpool you can be sure Zidane will play Isco for having the ball most of the time, and he won't play a frot 3 that would be perfect to Liverpool attack because neither of the three really tracks back.
Also, in the 2 other UCL finals Zidane and Madrid played the last 2 years, the team that played the last Liga game was the one that played the UCL final.
So expecting to see Karim playing in the final is nothing but a wishful thinking from your side. Definitely not happening...
As we approach the game I can only see a Liverpool win. Obviously, I'd love for Madrid to spank them. However, this is not the same prime Madrid that dominated teams in Europe in the past 3-4 years.

I hoped Real lose it the last 2 years because the way some refs helped them during big games and some crucial decisions even this year though but against Liverpool we only have one option.
I won't be watching as it is an early morning kick-off for. Maybe I wouldn't watch even if it were on at a decent time.

If they didnt have Salah in their team and in the absolute monster form hes been in for the entire season then lets be real not many people would say stuff like liverpool is easily going to win, you better think twice if you think Madrid will be afraid of Mane and Firmino. Literally all they have to do is shut down Salah and its game over, and if Mourinho could shut down their front 3 with the likes of Smalling and 2 senior citizens at left and right back, then I believe it will be piece of cake for Zidane.

Both Salah and Firmino have 10 goals in 12 CL games. Mane has 9 in 10 CL games.

Mourinho, and the others that have successfully shut down Salah have deployed tactics with men behind the ball. Even Stoke managed it the other week. Salah doesn't really hurt teams in front of them, its when he gets in behind, which is what I think Real will allow him to do. I'm only calling it as I see it, but when City deployed tactics similar to those Madrid will likely play, they got destroyed, so I don't think its that outlandish of a claim to predict Liverpool will win comfortably.

Not really just one player though is it? We didn't beat City twice because of just one player, it was a team effort. Firmino is vastly underrated on here and Mane is a really dangerous player on his day.
Individually, we have 3 quality attackers. As a unit, our whole team is dangerous. Salah wouldn't be getting the numbers that he is without the constant pressing from the other members of our team.
Personally, I can't see us winning this. Madrid are too experienced to let us win but to even be in with a shout of winning the final is something that no one on here would have predicted last August.

I think Mane will get a goal - he has been threatening in the Champions League games up til now, and I think if Real concentrate on stopping Salah especially then Mane will be the one to benefit - but otherwise I agree, Liverpool will get at least 3 against this Madrid defence and keeper. I can also see something particularly annoying like a Henderson wonder strike to really add insult to injury.
