i have pulled myself away to make dinner. fantastic game the only niggle so far and its not a big deal at all but the little tutorial boxes always pop up when you are on a horse which means you are trying to read it and ride the horse at the same time but apart from that tiny thing im loving it so far
 
I am horrendous at Horseshoe.
 
decided to order it today, got it for £35 from amazon with free next day delivery, just got an email to say its dispached :cool:

at the moment online is having teething problems and people are kicking up a fuss all they need to do is be patient everyone is trying to log on at the same time because its the first week and its going to be worse when its offically released in europe tomorrow but never fear it will calm down after a few days
 
It takes me fecking ages to get anywhere because I keep getting sidetracked. I'm trying to go from that Bonnie's farm to Armadillo, but so far I've been mauled by a Cougar, fallen off a cliff twice, been attacked by a crazy man and killed, caught up in peoples business, etc.. I got to Armadillo at one point but a man started knifing a woman in an argument, as I tried to stop him I accidentally stabbed him. Gave myself up to the authorities and spent god knows how long in jail :lol:

This spoiler contains something that happens in a mission, which i found hilarious, but it does not reveal anything about the story line.

There is a bit during a cattle heard where you have to chase down and control some cows, if you don't get there in time they run off a cliff, best thing ive ever seen in a computer game, a dozen cows run off a cliff to their deaths
 
I saved all but one :lol:
 
I just spent an hour killing deer, foxes, armidillos, wolves, cougars, cayotes, rabbits... cougars are the hardest, those old hags always get me in trouble with the law... but their skin sells a premium... and feels nice when i wear it.

I hope one of the outfits is like a wild killer, like bare chested, torn pants, blood across the upper torso etc.
 
I've not found a cougar yet, where are they hiding? I went around being the pansiest cowboy in the west picking flowers and shooting birds and rabbits. Played the knife game which was piss easy, stole 3 dollars from a draw in the bar than managed to turn that into 48 in a sitting.

Horseshoe i'm crap at, and poker i've already worked out the patterns of the guys at Bonnie's ranch.

Strangers i've found an old lady in a wedding dress, a religious woman dying in a desert and a guy playing the harmonica by a rock.

Not had much random stuff yet, a guy getting chased by coyotes and a herbalist challenging me to a race to pick flowers is all i've got so far.

When can you start doing wanted poster missions?
 
For anyone that's been experiencing issues in Red Dead Redemption online multiplayer, we've just enacted a fix which should help. Instructions for both platforms are below, along with a description of what's been addressed. If you still need assistance, please contact RDRsupport@rockstargames.com and make sure to include your platform and online ID.
We will continue to investigate any and all issues people may be having including the ones this update aims to fix. Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we work through this stuff.

This fix addresses a specific issue that was found where the player’s multiplayer avatar, their horse or their weapons would occasionally not be visible in multiplayer games as well as an issue that some players were experiencing where they would lose connection to the various multiplayer modes.

To apply the update on PlayStation 3:
You must be signed into a valid PlayStation Network ID and be connected to the PlayStation Network before starting the game up. If those two conditions are met, your PS3 will automatically download the update in the background and the game will apply the fixes when you start or join a multiplayer session.

To apply the update on Xbox 360:
You must be signed into a valid Xbox LIVE Gamertag and be connected to Xbox LIVE before starting the game up. If those two conditions are met, your Xbox 360 will automatically download the update in the background and the game will apply the fixes when you start or join a multiplayer session.

fair play to them, they were quick to release a patch for the MP issues
 
This game is tough to track down on the PS3, everywhere has 360 versions but nobody has the PS3 version. I've given up on it until next week.
 
Really enjoyed the multiplayer, played a bit before calling it a night.

Well i enjoyed it until some guy who was level 50, already, joined and thought he'd have great fun killing me continuosly whilst i was trying to take down a gang.

Prick.

I couldn't get hold of this today, couple that with being woken up at 4 in the morning by my missus' best mate who's boyfriend had held her hostage at gun point and beaten up her son...you could say I've had a shit day.

I'm tempted to start a thread in the general but I'm not sure if I can be arsed. I'm going to find some solace at the bottom of a bottle of wodka.
