It's important to mark totti rather closely, he's been on fire as their false number 9 (scored 16 in serie A and 4 in CL) and has the ability to put his teammates through, which is why I think Oshea should be in front of our back four to annoy him as much as possible, he's the centre of their attack and certainly the one to mark!

Someone should tee Scholes up around the edge of the box at some point. A Copenhagen esque goal would do nicely.
Am i the only one worried about Scholesy? He's one booking away from a suspension and at this stage of the competition we'll need him for every game.

Yes and No. Carrick was immense against Bolton when Scholes was suspended. I don't think Scholes missing is such a big loss anymore, don't get me wrong, it still is a loss, but it's not a massive hammer hitting the nail loss.
I'd still start with a 5 man midfield tonight, and have Rooney playing the 'lone striker' but allow Ronnie and Giggs a free license. I'm so excited

Indeed. Totti is Roma's everything. It is the same case as Kaka for Milan. Belive me when I say that if Totti did get a yellow card then Man Utd will surely progress through no matter what happens in the first game. I belive that we can do it without Ronaldo but they have no chance without Tottina
