Plaqying with 11 outfield players is a revolutionary strategy from Fergie, that's why he's the best!
There is a reason they are 10th in Bundesliga this year... 2-3 stand-out players and that's about it. They always raise their game in the ChampionsLeague though, especially Raul and Neuer. Cut the supply from Farfan and we should deal with the rest quite comfortably IMHO.

Would not be surprised at a 451 with Hernandez up top and Rooney behind/deep. Schalke have a lack of pace in defence (according to many sources). Either they'll drop deep to cope with Hernandez's pace which will give Rooney room to rape them, or they'll push right up to stop Rooney and Nani/Hernandez will exploit the space over the top. I'm pretty confident of a result, which is unusual.
Metzelder will have a nightmare with Hernandez running in behind. He's slower than Carragher these days!
