Andersons not explosive anymore because he ate too many pies, not because we made him a more rounded midfielder.
Maybe he took the becoming more rounded brief the wrong way. fecking traslators

Stats aside, I don't understand how anyone can have watched the early season games against WBA, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs without thinking our defence were incredibly exposed throughout.
We looked a bit more solid against Bolton but that was because Carrick replaced Cleverley in the first 15 minutes.
Just a mention, we haven't officially sign him.
Have we agreed to sell him to Real yet?
Have we agreed to sell him to Real yet?
Are we waiting for him to return from Japan then?
Not sure, I have a feeling we've done deals before when a player isn't actually in Manchester? or?
Well yeah but I cant see Gill flying to Japan right now can you?
Didnt vdv take 15 shots vs us by himself
A twat on Facebook (Chelsea fan) just put "we're signing hazard and hulk, United are gettin' Kagawa (lol) and arsenal are signing a Japanese teen called Fu kin no wan".
fecking arrogant Chelsea fans.
Anderson is shite
there i've said it
if we want to build a midfield that is good at retaining possession then we need midfielders who can consistently pass the ball, not one who fires the bloody thing like a cannonball then wonders why his team-mates couldn't get to it

Incredibly frustrating player. Sell him.

this is make or break season for him imho, he needs to prove his fitness first and foremost
Same for Cleverley I guess?
Regardless of the rights and wrongs of the opinion, they're not the same thing as Cleverley is in his first full season for us whereas Anderson has been here much longer.
You must have selective memory. The opprobrium that came his way at certain times in the second half of the season was typical. "Should never player centre midfield for United again" was the most common one.

He really shouldn't, and it's got nothing to do with his passing, although he regularly tries the hollywood ball instead of keeping it simple. He gets overrun when he plays there, notably against Wigan, where they had more possession than us.
Cleverley may not have played a lot last season but he looked good pretty much every time he did. Anderson was still inconsistent and had some shocking games amidst his good ones, as has been the case for the last 5 years, even if you disregard his injury problems. I don't see the situations as the same, Anderson has had more opportunities because he's been given 5 seasons here, Cleverley was loaned out and this was his first season with the club.
Against Wigan? when we lost 1-0?
Figure out who he's actually talking about before you try and catch him out![]()
So Anderson has much more experience despite being the same age. While Cleverley was having injury hit seasons in the reserves, Watford and Wigan, Anderson was playing in 2 Champions League finals, winning 1, as well as winning 4 Leagues and 2 Leage cups.
When he was fit, he was playing. Surely that's a better CV than Cleverley and therefore should be considered when we are talking about either being sold?
Because Anderson was deemed good enough and Cleverley was no where near? I trust Ferguson on this...
