Shinji Kagawa

Not at all, Mata is better but their difference in quality is not near as your example. Kagawa is a really good player but isn't being managed correctly.

Anyway, by this September we can all agree how could he is when he'll run the show in an another team and we have to see the infinite crosses to no-one from Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia.
:( Unless Moyes is gone, that would no doubt happen.

try to dig yourself out of that hole if you want.

I am a professional writer. Have been for 10 years. My words were chosen correctly and appropriately. Your lack of comprehension of a simple phrase is not my problem.

We can gauge your reaction next time a United player gets injured.

Priceless from the man who acts like he'd like to personally break Kagawa's legs with a sledgehammer.

Maybe sports fans in your part of the world have a different attitude to their players getting injured. I'll not bother trying to understand.

Some people confuse what you think is best to what you want to happen.

I think the best thing to happen for United is for Moyes to be abducted by aliens, does that mean I wish it happens? no.

Indeed. As I said, simple reading comprehension. Had I used the word "want" then he'd be correct. As it is, probably should go back to school and take a basic reading course.

Januzaj and Mata are more talented. Both get games. That's where this argument that Moyes doesn't know how to use players like Kagawa falls flat on its face. End of story.

Are we pretending like he just used Mata correctly in the last game?

Are we pretending like Kagawa has been played in his position most of the time this year?

Because those are both sorry points to make.

charley loves to overreact. It was clear from AlwaysRedwood post (despite being a big fa of Moyes) that he never meant that he wish our players to get injured, but more of an expression that he would like to see Shinji play and at the moment it looks that the only way for that is if Valencia and Young get injured. And I tend to agree, I can't ever wish an injury to one of our player (not even to Young) but if that happens and Moyes is forced to play Kagawa, likely we will play a bit better.

You are correct. As well as Adnan, who wasn't in the last game in place of Young.

The only way Moyes will sit them is if they can't play.

Exactly... are you watching City v Chelsea? it's depressing...

Yes. After they gave us Mata I want them to win this year.

It is a bit depressing but if you shoot yourself in the leg and don't try to stop the bleeding, then it shouldn't be a surprise if your leg hurts.

Quite, I'm rooting for Chelsea to win this ahead of City & Arse too.

Mourinho setting his team up perfectly (not saying they'd definitely win) against City and their 100% record.

Moyes setting his team up to play towards Stoke's only strength... :(

I agree. You shouldn't try to do what is beyond your capacity.
Maybe you should hope for Kagawa to break his leg instead? Last time he was injured for a long time you lot had built him up to a Balon D'Or contender. It's only when people see him try to play the image falls apart...

Yep, that's how I see it too. The only way we will see improvement in our attacking play is if Young and Valencia don't play, and the only way that looks like happening is if they pick up injuries.

Right and congrats on missing the last two games he played in. Go read the MOTM thread and see his name time after time and then wonder why you can't sit back and watch a United player without hatred in your eyes.

You really don't like Kagawa do you?

If he had done that it would have been better.

That deep line defense it is still giving me nightmares. Without Rio and Vidic who are slow, and against Stoke who are likely the slowest team in the league (Peter Crouch, do I need to say more), that genius starts and plays the entire game with such a deep line. Mind boggling.

hate? I'm not the one showing hatred for United players here buddy! I'm not hoping they get injured!
If Kagawa was capable of living up to the fanboy hype I'd be delighted.

The excuse used to be he's being played out of position, now its because all other players around him are crap, no movement..he should be playing for Barca were not good enough.

Let's see, Stoke are a very tall and slow team, what do we do? We play a deep line and play all our attacking emphasis on crossing the ball into the box.

Stoke are notorious bad at defending against quick counter attack, what do we do? We bring all 11 players back for every corner.

Anyway, won't sidetrack this thread any more.

Which isn't an excuse at all, he has been playing out of position.

The biggest problem though is that he plays 1 game in 3-4 games and then gets ubbes even when he is our best player. A big surprise that he isn't consistent then.

You have been ripping on Kagawa all season. He's far from the only one struggling to find any form, plus it doesn't help that he barely gets a game, and when he does he's stuck on the left wing. Valencia and Young have delivered crap consistently for a very long time, and have played a lot more football. I guess that means I'm a Kagawa fanboy too...

Mata has been here for two games. What's Moyes' excuse for all the other games this season?

You can say that Januzaj is the difference this season, but keep in mind that both Rooney and RVP have been out on lengthy spells. Under Fergie, it was enough that one of them was out for Kagawa to immediately take the AM position. So Januzaj has not been an obstacle either.

Moyes just prefers Valencia, Young and Welbeck ahead of Kagawa. That's the truth, and that's the issue. Fergie would never have done this. Especially not with Rooney and/or RVP out.
