Shinji Kagawa

Welbeck, Rooney and Young in attack with Fellaini, Carrick and Giggs in midfield. Hopefully not, but wouldn't bet againt it.

He was easily the best player on the pitch today so I hope that Moyes is slowly realizing what everybody know about Kagawa. However, I don't think that he'll start next match.

On another note, I guess I was right about Moyes again.

That makes no sense since he isn't competing with either of them for a starting spot. I'd love for Fletcher or Nani to start ahead of those two though. Kagawa has much more competent competition for a starting spot in the form of Giggs and Welbeck.
As a part of front four he is competing with both of them (or atleast with Valencia). Kagawa should have been part of the front three with Rooney and Welbeck.

The funny thing is in hindsight, if he wasn't going to play him today then why did he haul him off against Villa.

He was playing really well and when substituted I thought it might be to protect him for tonight. Clearly not.

Because David Moyes is an utter retard. Thats why.

At some point people are gonna have to stop being shocked at Kagawa not getting picked.

Cause Moyes makes no sense. Gives Ashley Young 90 mins when he was diabolical. Brings off Kagawa first when he was one of our best players, for god knows what reason. I knew it wasn't to be rested for tonight. Just knew he wouldn't start.

A scandalous decision. He'll play him in the second leg when we are 4-0 down probably.

We don't have a front three, it's Rooney up top on his own with someone behind him. And Kagawa cannot play on the right. Sorry, there's no room for him tonight unless he magically turned into a right winger. How rubbish Valencia is has got nothing to do with Kagawa.

For the sake of his own career, he needs to leave in the summer.

Hey David, do any of your players have a great record against Bayern? Reckon it might be worth playing them tonight?

Eh? That's exactly where he should be playing.

It's ridiculous really. It's not like he's a similar player quality wise where you can make an argument. He's streets ahead of the players we have picked and have been playing yet he's on the bench. It's just pure stupidity to leave him out. Like after Rooney he'd be the best outfield player in that team. But he's on the bench. You couldn't make this shit up.

I thought that too! what goes on in his head?

Already covered this. Giggs deserves to start ahead of him there.
Why does Giggs deserve it? Because he had a great game against Olympiacos (who are shite)? If Hernandez scored a hat trick last game and Rooney didn't score any, would you start him ahead of Rooney? It's a similar gap between Kagawa and Giggs. I love Giggs but he's 40. Start him further back next to fletcher or fellaini, not instead of Kagawa.

He played on the right against Madrid last season.

Also, Rooney with someone behind him. That someone should have been Kagawa

I never thought the caf would surpass the shitness levels of the Tevez and Berbatov threads but this is out on it's own now.

Don't understand this. Moyes just doesn't rate him at all. Idiot.

Wouldn't be shocked to see Shinji make an assist at the weekend and get dropped again afterwards.

Moyes has made his mind up on some players. Despite his claims. They never had a chance with him.

I'm generally skeptical of Moyes, but I don't think he'll be able to keep Kagawa out this time. He knows Bayern the best, and has been playing very well lately. Mata can't play either, and Januzaj is probably not ready to start an important game like this. RVP is also out, so Rooney will probably take the striker position.

The "only" way to keep Kagawa out, is to play Rooney, Welbeck, Valencia and Young. I'll actually explode if I see that happen.

How you feelin' ?

Sadly Moyes will stay and half of our squad, mostly the better half e.g. Kagawa, Nani, Hernandez will go.

Don't worry though Young and Valencia will be around...
:(

Moyes is sucking the life out of

Fellaini and Giggs would cover the same distance as him. But Kagawa is better than both.

Don't get it.
