Gundogan swap rumours on twitter
He has been with us one season and I can't think for the life of me why we would do this?

Do what? Sign one of the best young midfielders in the world?
Heaven forbid!
You miss my point, Cina. Why by Kagawa in the first place if we were serious about doing this?

I'm sure there's a very simple explanation for this whole thing.
You changed it, liar. It ws 173 for Pienaar.Wiki says Kagawa is 172cm and Pienaar is 170cm.
Fergie bought Kagawa, Summit. If Moyes doesn't rate him, he's not just going to back down purely because he's only been here one year.
Well start with Kagawa and have Nani on bench. Shinji would have been better than a number of players who started.
We have serious problems if Moyes doesn't rate the previous Bundesliga player of the year. However, your point does stand though, maybe Moyes really doesn't see him as a fit into our team?
He never won that, not sure why so many still think he did.
I don't know why Moyes doesn't rate him (if that's true) because frankly he's a far superior version of Pienaar, who was one of his favourite players. Maybe there's just something else we don't know about going on.
He actually does hate Japanese people?
We are calling for him to start, but he can't even get a place on the bench.

Whys that funny?
Whys that funny?
Because we are all assuming he was unfit, as there could be no other reason why he wouldn't start. When in actual fact, it was because Kagawa couldn't get a place on the bench ahead of a winger. Kagawa isn't really comparable to Nani IMO, or maybe I'm wrong? But I believe there is room for Nanin and Kagawa in the same team, as Kagawa should be played behind the striker.

Or because maybe the manager, incomprehensibly, doesnt rate him?
Yeah, that has been said already. Sorry for finding that slightly funny though.
Whether he is better or not wasn't the initial discussion was it ?
Really missed him today - he's such a brilliant footballer, yet doesn't seem to get playing time and plays second fiddle to someone like Young. Such a shame. Let's just hope that it was because Moyes feels he's not ready yet. Not him for Güngodan - rather have both and give them Young as a token of gratitude.
I made the point yesterday (has been made by others too) that whilst I see similarities in the way Pienaar was used and how Kagawa could be used Pienaar is much better defensively. He's more tenacious than Shinji and much better going backwards.
In his role he was shoved in at United? Maybe.
In his natural role as CAM? No way in hell. Kagawa at Dortmund was one of the best CAM´s in the world in terms of defensive contribution. It was actually the point, which Klopp rated the most about Shinji.
Kagawa´s play against the ball is extremely good. The reason for that is not his tacklings, but his ability to read the game. He can anticipate movements and passing routes to an great extend. He is to put it simply one of the best pressing players I have ever seen. This made him such a good fit for Dortmund and made his transition from the first Japanese league to Bundesliga (a way bigger step as between Bundesliga and EPL) so smoothly.
While he would not be able to use it as efficient at United, because they don´t run a collective pressing systen like Dortmund, but he would still be able to pressure the build up play of the opposing side and make the work of the CM easier, if he would be giving the freedom as he had at his former club.
I can understand, that he does not start in the CAM if Rooney is fit, because the latter is still the more complete player, but he should be the obvious second choice.
Would help, if he would be in the squad in the first place, though.
