Well at least we can stop all the bullshite saying that he isn't match fit to play, rather he isn't fit to our system is the main cause.
People looking too much into this. Kagawa played in the Rio testimonial and looked really, really unfit.
Moyes is just giving him some time to build his fitness. Won't be surprised to see him starting now as he has completed both matches for Japan.
They've upgraded their managers, which were the main reasons why both those teams were so far off from even mounting a challenge last season. City won the league on goal difference in 2011/12 with 89 points, the same team failed to even break 81 points last season while being 10 points behind United. Now we all like to talk about how Van Persie own us the league, but City didn't even compete last season. Chelsea haven't finished above 80 points since 2010/11, and that period directly coincides with the last time they had a top class manager (Carlo Ancelotti).
The most significant signings this year are the managers.
Good performance. Even on the left, he can do a much better job than Young.
Well that's clearly not true.
I wouldnt expect him to start this weekend - played twice in a week, long trip, jetlag etc
however we have 7 matches in the next 3 weeks so I expect to see a fair bit of rotation and after that we should have a good idea of where Moyes sees his place in the squad
If he doesn't start, for the vaiid reasons you give, and with Rooney absent, who's going to be the midfield "playmaker" - Fellaini or Giggs say? I am not sure how attuned Moyes is to the idea of rotation. I think he prefers settled combinations which is probably a good thing - injuries, staleness and trying to keep everyone happy notwithstanding.

In all fairness it is a talking point. A player who was amazing in Germany and excels in something we as a team struggle with isn't getting a chance to play, I for one would love to know the reasons for this before we lose him.Talksport are just about to make a big thing out of what Kagawa said. Typical.
dont worry... he will play this next match (Rooney is out) in his best position, i hope surrounded of the best we can offer.
He will be class and rooney will be in trouble.
If this dont happen, time to![]()

The sad thing is you just know we'll sell him for absolute peanuts and he'll go on and become a superstar.
We'll get 8 mill for him tops now that Moyes has made it clear he's completely unwanted.
And to rub salt in the wounds Moyes will play Fellaini off the striker and have us playing hoof ball stuff.

If Kagawa leaves it will be the Pogba situation magnified multiple times.
Completely unwanted? My word you're an absolute drama queen.
We're 3 games into the season for rucks sake
I'm gonna put my head on the line and say that Rowem is being sarcastic there![]()

I hope people get over this desire to see Rooney out of the team. A cnut as he has been, its clear from the extents we went through to keep him that he'l play and considering RVP in the scheme of things, it will always be behind the striker. So if Kagawa has to succeed here, it wont be behind the striker even though he'l operate in central areas from the left.
It's crystal palace. They're shit. It's the perfect game to get him into the scheme of things.I wouldnt expect him to start this weekend - played twice in a week, long trip, jetlag etc

Is more a desire of Kagawa to play in his best position than Rooney being out of the team... Actually, i just want the best for the team, and Kagawa playing as AMC is the best for everyone. He is just much better suited than Rooney for that creative role.
i would love to have Kagawa behind RVP and Rooney...
I'd like that too but if we want to fit both Rooney and Kagawa in there, it'd have to be Kagawa starting in a slightly wider role even though he'd be operating centrally anyways. Rooney out on the left would be a waste as his goal threat is the main reason he plays behind the striker anyways and that'd be massively compromised.
Playing 2 striker and Kagawa just wont work mate.
It could easily work. But it wont... true.
Would mean us resorting to a diamond, never gonna happen.
Why not?
Why not?
We struggle with teams waltzing through our midfield as is, if we play two strikers, one #10 and 2 wide players, it will likely be open season on our defence.
To be fair, if he doesn't start against Palace, he'll probably come on as a sub and then start in the Champions League on Tuesday. Which is OK by me.
Good performance there and hopefully Moyes won't drop him for the City game.
would be something more like this
---------ddg
Rafael--Vidic--Evans--Evra
--------Carrick (or swap carrick with fellaini)
Fellaini----------Cleverley
-------Kagawa
---Rooney-----RVP
pretty solid... i cant see any midfield out there waltzing through.

I think he will certainly start in your CL game, and I feel he is more suited to that sort of game.
I don't think he will play vs City though, Welbecks a sure thing.
