Also, who was marking Ruud when he hit the post? Was it Dawson? Think it may have got a nick off of him (Dawson) which put it onto the post.

Defoe missed a couple of sitters.

Jenas didnt do much today apart from the tap in. In fact I thought our midfield did pretty well given it was made up from a defender and a winger.

The Spurs fans were in good voice until United scored. Then the United fans made a lot of noise. We picked up a bit when we pulled one back. But essentially it was a bit flat, since we were 2-0 down against the run of play.

It was an open game, both sides had periods of domination, both had clear cut chances. Im not sure there was a run of play, it was end to end in the first half particularly. Thats what made it exciting!
