Spurs vs. Manchester United

Spurs Lineup

Cerny
Hutton
Chimbonda
Woodgate
Dawson
Lennon
Jenas
Huddlestone
Malbranque
Berbatov
Keane

Bench: Robinson, Lee, Boateng, Taarabt, O'Hara

I am not sure who to start at LB. Certainly one of their RBs will play out of position. Maybe Ronaldo will have a party there. And I am not sure if the pair of Jenas and Huddlestone will match for United midfielders.

Spurs:

Cerny, Hutton, Chimbonda, Woodgate, Dawson, Lennon, Jenas, Hudd, Steed, Berbatov, Keane

Subs: Robinson, Lee, Boateng, Taarabt, O'Hara

No King, Chimbonda switches to LB (so I guess Ramos has decided that Gilberto is not ready to come straight in).

One of these days we'll get to play you with our strongest team (i.e both King and Bale included), but not today.

You better run if you're going to make the game.

Only get to see about 5 or 6 games a season these days, unfortunately: a combination of living in deepest Somerset, huge ticket demand and family commitments.

Scholes & Hargreaves will be SAF's first choice midfield when they are fit.

Paul Robinson on the bench again. Their first choice isn't great.

By which time Berbatov will be wearing a red shirt :smirk:
Maybe .... except I've been hearing the same thing on this forum for the last 3 transfer windows and it still ain't happened ;)

To be fair, that Spurs team looks very decent on paper. They have alot of potential. A new keeper is a must though, but i'm sure everyone at Spurs is aware of that by now.

I wonder how organized the Spurs back 4 will be today. There might be a bit of confusion, well hopefully

Will be a tough game, they have a good chance of holding us or even beating us

still no darren bent on the bench for spuds either even with the sale of Defoe, his lengthy absence becoming a mystery.

The key to the game is the Vidic - Ferdinand - Hargreaves triangle and how quiet they can keep Keane and Berbatov. Should be a good game, both strong line-ups.

Our success will depend on whether they act as an isosceles or more of a equilateral triangle.

He's injured according to physioroom
He received a very bad injury quite a while ago and is going to be out for a long time, maybe even for the rest of the season.
