Doesn't Fergie trust Scholes Carrick to handle Sunderland? Surprising.
Dropping our best player in our last match or our best winger this season. Crazy is one word for it.

Playing 5 in midfield is an obvious choice, away from home and without Welbeck (or hernandez). Giggs is the third best central midfielder available. I mean, come on, why can't people think before posting?
Nani was, by and large, crap this season whenever he played. But that doesn't seem to prevent Giggs being selected...
Half of our front six are direct pace merchants, the other half are pedestrian passers. Rooney is supposed to hold the whole thing together somehow.

That's not what I've seen. People said the same thing about Scholes at the end of last season but I didn't see it then either, and I'm not surprised he's come back and played so well because I didn't ever think he lost it.
But I'm willing to admit I might not see it. I think Giggs's recent problems have been with his passing, not his running.

No he wasn't he was good for the first few months of the season and then went of the boil and then got injured. He came back and had one good game and then one poor game. No one bar carrick has really been consistently good this season. Still one of our best players and for me unless he's in really bad form which he isn't should start when fit. As you said it puts more pressure on Rooney as I think the other attackers rely on the service they're getting more than Nani does.
Nani is our 3rd top scorer this season, and our 2nd top assister, whilst being injured for a couple of months. Not bad for someone who has had a shit season
you must be on about different players here?
Nani hasn't been shit this season, fecking hell. He's been better than Giggs anyway, that's for sure
Giggs has 8 assists in the league this season, Silva has 14 at the top. If that makes Giggs being piss poor and should just quit this instance, then I think you really are expecting too much. He has played too many matches this season, that's the problem - he needs more rest between matches at his age, but this year we haven't had too many options.
Unfortunately, people only remember about as much as a goldfish.
The only thing I hesitate about is putting Jones ahead of Rafael at RB as we need goals and Rafael frees up so much more space for Valencia in attack.
I think Carrick deserves United POTY but I don't think he will get it as 26 goals from Rooney are hard to ignore.
Good to see we're sticking by our guns and continuing with the self defeatist team selections in spite of doing so already costing us the league.
Also, is Cleverley injured, or is Ferguson just stuck in some kind of lala land where you're not allowed to play midfielders who actually make runs or fullbacks who are actually fullbacks?
Yeah I think he should to and should have made it in to the team of the season. But as you said Rooney will get it.

Yeah I know, I think he gets hard done by on here. He's our best attacker after Rooney and the most likely person to be the difference if Rooney isn't stepping up.
You say that as if assists are all we ask from a midfielder. We haven't played well a single time he has started in midfield this season. Not once.
I'm on about Young and Valencia. Who else should be dropped to play Nani?

Giggs he was saying but I don't think he realised we were playing 4-3-3.
Must be lala land, PhysioRoom.com says he's not injured.
The poster you quoted suggested Giggs to be dropped, with Young playing behind Rooney.

Well that's even more dumb. Giggs is a central midfielder. Young is not.
He mentioned neither of those in his post. And I'd drop
Young, obviously.
